I was raised a Methodist, an organization that gradually degenerated into one of the "united" denominations, which essentially means a former Christian organization now united with the liberal world, abandoning essential Christianity. Such organizations are unwilling to follow Christ on protecting innocent life and retaining genuine marriage. Perhaps in recognition of this secular drift, I left Methodism as a teen and declared myself an atheist.
However, I met a young Catholic seminarian who had good answers to all my objections to Christianity, and I had to rethink my faith in absurdity and accidental existence. I became a Catholic as a young college student, over 30 years ago. My wife and I drifted for a few years into a small evangelical church, Pentecostal Holiness, which is similar to Assemblies of God (I especially enjoyed gospel music, and I accompanied a gospel quartet during these years). But then we found ourselves hungering for the body of Christ, and rejoined the Church founded by Jesus himself. I continue to discover that the Catholic Church has kept alive the truths of original Christianity, often misunderstood by Christians in other organizations.

I was raised with no religion (did not start to believe in any of them) but got familiar on the way with many religious beliefs and philosophies. I finally chose "the way, the truth, and the life" and dumped all religions.

Raised Catholic.
Now not sure what I believe in. But I am reading up on Pagan/Wicca. And it explains alot about what I feel and fits my philosophy as what religion is to me.

I was taken to church until l was about 6 years old.
Then I was agnostic/atheist. And around age 12 I found paganism. I'm still an atheist, but now I'm also Pagan. :D

Raised Mormon, now an agnostic Buddhist.
Living a good life in the now, for the time I have, is more beneficial to me than living for an eternity that may or may not exist.
