Doesn't it go against religious beliefs?

No, and really why would you want someone that had to have a spell put on him to love you.

I agree with pepsi and tawaen, though love and money spells are reputedly the easiest to get 'results' from. "Reputedly".

For the most comprehensive explanation on how and why "spells" work, I recommend a film/book called "The Secret". Modern science is finally catching up with folk magic.

A word about love spells - What you put your full focus on, you will attract more of. What is the underlying reason you want to cast a spell on this particular person ? Do you really like them, or do you just like the feelings you womp up whenever you're around them?

Examine your deepest motives first. If you're still intent on the working, make sure you're thorough and specific in your intention. You don't wanna put something general out there and attract a stalker. *Bless*Sj

Do you mean trying to make someone else love you? Then no, I've never had a spell like that work. I've never even seriously tried one. It's a bad idea to force others to do things.

Do you mean to love oneself and increase self-esteem? Yes, I've found it to be pretty effective. I can even look guys that I like in the eyes now and speak to them in full sentances. :)

As for drawing love to me, well, I'm giving that time. I'm too young to be interested in anything serious.

Edit: No, I'm Pagan. It doesn't go against my religious beliefs. A Christian would have to talk pretty fast to make it viable in their religion, as would a Jew or Muslim.

Such things, if they work, would be comprised of manipulative energy. Bad idea.

If you have been reading on the subject you evidently haven't been reading enough, or haven't been reading from the right sources to give you the entire picture.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.

1. No, you can't force love, you can only push love by manipulation.

2. Even if you could, its wrong to force someone to do something against their will and it WILL backfire.

no, you can't mess with someone else's free will. as tawean said, use a spell on yourself to attract him and it will work.

good luck!

I'm sure it could work but why would you want it to? It's not fair or ethical. The karma of it would suck.

Apparently not, 'cause Johnny Depp has yet to show up at my doorstep.
