It doesn't really matter what the Ten Commandments are perceived to be. We cannot accomplish them, no one but Jesus could. That's the whole point of God being our Redeemer, he could live them. We cannot. That's why we are given grace for believing him, because he took our inability to live by the Law and placed it upon himself. That's why we are saved by faith. We trust him for righteousness because he is righteous.

Many have argued that marijuana, easily the most benign of the illicit drugs, does not warrant prohibition. They contend that smoking pot in defiance of the law is justifiable on these grounds and in light of (what they perceive to be) the hypocrisy of outlawing weed while allowing nicotine and alcohol consumption. Those who argue this point may be sincere in their conviction but they are mistaken nonetheless. Heartfelt disdain for the law does not justify impunity towards it, as our Lord Himself made clear. While rebuking the Pharisees for turning the Law of Moses into an excessively oppressive yoke, Christ still required His disciples to submit to their unfairly harsh demands (Matthew 23:1-36, especially 1-4). Dutiful submission to authority and patient perseverance through unjust suffering and/or perceived unfairness (1 Peter 2:18-23) is God’s high standard for us – even if that means having to abstain from weed in compliance with “unfair” legislation.

Well I don't think their is anything about that on the 10 commandments. But since people break all the commandments on a daily bases and claim that God will forgive them for it then go right ahead and smoke your weed.

The 10 commandments are the most important laws that God wanted us to follow, not EVERY law that we have to follow. There isnt a commandment sayin that rapist should get punished so why do they?

1) Look them up in the Bible

2) Any time you use something for a bad purpose, it is "disordered". Hemp is for rope, not getting loaded. That would fall under the sin of "drunkeness" : Different substance perhaps, but same principal.

I think he does mind having his law's removed. and it's not good to smoke pot all day long...sure he made it, but i don't think he intended for people to smoke it to get a high every chance they got. plus it stinks to high heaven...why in the world would anyone want to smoke something that smells like skunk spray ? if you want a good high, I know the best high there is.....God.

Nobody cares what your imaginary friends thinks on the subject.

And it's illegal because a bunch of little old ladies with blue hair got together and decided it over a round of Bloody Marys...
