No. I don't believe there's compelling evidence to support the evolution hypothesis as it's usually presented, and I'm not a Christian. I'm a pagan.
I believe that tells us Christians of a particular ilk aren't the only ones who don't believe the theory is without enough flaws to need a lot more examination before it's accepted as 'proven'.
I suspect there's probably some other explanation not involving creation, or the usual theories described as evolution.

I'm an Atheist from Europe and I reject something called
creationism!
I think Europe is way more open minded in a religious vs evolution discussion!
except when you go to Italy - pope the dope rules that roost!
but I would say that the whole world is pretty much on the train wagon when it comes to education in that department, the majority have somehow linked the two together and believe both!

I don't make a habit of asking people I meet, but I have yet to meet a Christian who rejects evolution - I live in the UK.

i think of that tendency pertains to very almost all Christians from Catholics to Mormons. the respond is, as you already suggested, interpretation. i individually comprehend some people who do no longer even have confidence the dinosaurs existed. i grow to be a committed Christian for years until my coaching in technological expertise finally overpowered the failure of interpretation. i've got confidence the bible contains assorted history, yet for the main area that's riddled with writings via adult adult males reason on administration by way of worry. the assorted prophets did have the superb interest of the persons in ideas yet they positioned too plenty of their very own opinions into the writings. I no longer have confidence any of what Moses wrote in Genesis to be history. whether, I do settle for many of Exodus. Evolution is a shown reality. The data is obvious once you look on the restoration of life after each and every of the extinction activities. in case you fairly need to comprehend evolution for your self, learn all the sciences in stay overall performance from astrophysics to geology. each and every of the sciences contributes somewhat bit the puzzle.

Don't worry there are plenty of Atheists here as well as some intelligent Christians that aren't quite as nutty as the creationist ones.

Nobody likes someone rejecting their belief. But it is a fact of life. "Reality is an illution, albeit a persistant one" Einstein. You can't force someone to share your illusion, or reality. It's different for everyone.
