Hello,
I have a problem that I cant talk about to anyone face to face because it is embarrassing. What it is, is that I have not had a girlfriend for over 15 years. I dont have any friends and just stay at home. As a man, I have sexual urges which I fulfilled with pornography (which I feel bad about).
Lately, I have started looking at transexuals and having sexual thoughts. I think I could be turning gay. I threw the porn away, but when the urge took me, I went out and piled up a larger, cruder collection including Transexual material. I always cry after I have relieved myself with this filth. I always feel disgusted with myself and want to die.
If I had a wife, I would throw all this stuff away for good, but I dont.
Can Jesus help me to sort my life out? I am now 45 years old. Is it too late for me?

Just wondering if anyone has noticed different trends in the way Halloween is celebrated where you live (yes, I know, trends are always changing). Some examples of what I've noticed in my town is the parties in the public schools. The school in town still does a costume parade around the town (during school hours, and separate from the big town party)that all the parents and others come out to watch, and they still sponsor a window painting contest (kids sign up to paint the downtown store windows), but the parties themselves have changed somewhat--no games anymore, just a ton of sugary food after the parade, and there are a lot more parents pulling their kids out of school on the day of the party for religious reasons. That kind of thing.
Also, some of the church youth groups used to host Halloween parties for the local kids, with games, costume contests, and haunted houses, but no one does that anymore. Now all the kids go have their own fun.
So just some thoughts. :)

After watching the trilogy i've come to the conclusion that the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy paints a "racist stereotypical tapestry" that does a disservice to young viewers everywhere.

people of color are all associated with the Dark Lord Sauron in the movie and the elephant-riding mercenaries too closely resemble the cultures of Africa, Persia and East Asia. The Uruk-hai also too closely resemble Native Americans, which is sure to cause "a great deal of cultural and racial alienation.

The fact that King Theoden, a white guy, calls his troops the "great warriors of the West" clinches it.

Can you imagine how people of skin color, of Persian, Arab and East Asian ethnic background feel when they come out of these films where all the heroes are white and all the 'evil doers' are of dark skin?

saruman is almost like a race-traitor and this is emphasised by the fact that he kept reffering to sauron as "my dark lord".

Can you work your way through all the equations that quantum mechanics and cosmologists need in order to explain their theories? Or do you just have faith in what scientists tell you?

(Just an attempt at a less stupid question than all my other ones).

Our earthly parents sometimes may chasten us, to gratify their passion, rather than to reform our manners. But the Father of our souls never willingly grieves nor afflicts his children. It is always for our profit.
I don't quite get what it means when it says our earthly parents may chasten us to gratify their passions ????
I'm not going to add more comments as I want to see how you "read" it. thanks WEndy

Many X-ian adults lion of judah pride them-selves on being "children" of God, when the higher biblical exhortation is "be no more children": Ephesians 4; Since children know not and get tossed to and fro by winds(spirits). Children, like servants, have to be told what to do and don't. So the higher exhortation for servants of righteousness is "thou art no more a servant". For only above a servant(slave) is truly free.

A "kid" (noun) is a goat, both in bible & dictionary
To "kid" (verb) is to deceive, the opposite of make aware

Just kidding? Is anyone just if they are kidding?

Regarding situations dealing with the paranormal. It seems like the stenth of the devil is much stronger ..and it bothers me. I mean i know god is strong by leaps and bonds but it just seems like god allows satan to do what he pleases...its scary. I mean i know that god loves us all and he is watching us. But to the families that deal with hauntings and ghost ....why does god allow these things to happen .....I mean i know at times you can do things to open the doors ..but what if a family moves into a place that has a negative history....Its all so confusing to me.

My aunt married a man from India. He has been living in the U.S. since college years and is now in his 50's. They have been married for like 30 years. I love him, he is the best uncle ever! But it seems like he acts kinda weird when we are around. He kind of seems nervous or like he is trying to avoid us. He is not like that all the time so I was wondering if we are doing something to offend him? He seems to have addapted to U.S. culture but he doesn't eat some foods that we do. When we are at his house what can we do to respect his beliefs?

Blood Work in body of Christ seems to have 2 purposes:
- provide nourishment(grace & truth) to the body
- cleanse the body of all impurities(laws & lies)

God our Saviour will also have two things:
- all men saved(graced), and
- all men made aware(truthed) what saved from: law

JC: My Father and I work hitherto --> the Sabbath

Blood Shed (Sacrifice) seems to have one purpose:
- kill(law) the body, including the head of the body

God their Destroyer will have one thing:
- willing ignorance, blind faith, faithful unto death

Blood work does eventually purge the conscience of all sin
Blood shed up to horses' bridal doesn't purge conscience

I just asked a question about what I needed to know about going to a catholic service, and by overwhelming reply, I was told I cannot receive there Holy Communion. This bothers me. Why can I not receive the blood and flesh of MY savior... the same savior for all of us... not souly the catholics savior. Am I not fit to worship the same God? It just bothers me that I cannot partake in the event when we all are praising the same God (as far as I know). To me this isn't very Christian...but I suppose Catholics aren't really Chrisitans any way... they are Catholics, ha. I can assure all you Catholics, if you come to ANY Protestant service you can recieve HOLY communion, even if you are not baptised in that denomination or any denomination. If you want to recieve Christ in you heart physically, you should be able to...and from what I understand... Catholics don't believe so.

I am not trying to stir up a fight... but this really was layed on my heart to ask.
