Hello,
I have a problem that I cant talk about to anyone face to face because it is embarrassing. What it is, is that I have not had a girlfriend for over 15 years. I dont have any friends and just stay at home. As a man, I have sexual urges which I fulfilled with pornography (which I feel bad about).
Lately, I have started looking at transexuals and having sexual thoughts. I think I could be turning gay. I threw the porn away, but when the urge took me, I went out and piled up a larger, cruder collection including Transexual material. I always cry after I have relieved myself with this filth. I always feel disgusted with myself and want to die.
If I had a wife, I would throw all this stuff away for good, but I dont.
Can Jesus help me to sort my life out? I am now 45 years old. Is it too late for me?

When JESUS came onto the scene in the New Testament, His first words were "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matt 3:2) What you are doing is sin. It is not right. JESUS also says "IF you confess your sins, he IS faithful and just to forgive you of your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness" (1 john 1:9) GOD loves you. This conviction you feel is a good thing, if it leads you to repentance. Please, I plead with you...repent and with your whole heart seek after GOD. You will find Him. GOD loves you! It's not too late!

Yes, Jesus can help. Get on your knees, repent and ask forgiveness of your sins. Throw all of this filth away and start reading a Bible. Find a Bible Study group in your area. Find a man in a Deliverance Ministry to talk to about this problem. You have a spirit of fear. It comes from abandonment, rejection, self-hatred - just to name a few. You are addicted and Jesus can deliver you from this addiction. Take the first step and ask the Lord into your life. It truly sounds like you want to change, so get rid of the magazines and trust the Lord to deliver you. AA and NA are Christian organizations that help with sexual addictions. You are just enslaved by something other than alcohol or drugs. This is exactly what the devil wants to do. The devil comes to steal from us good things, kill us if he can and totally destroy our lives any way that he can. The devil is a strong enemy and he must be fought.

Yes - Jesus can and will help you.

Hi Morton,

Jesus certainly can help you to sort out your life. The first thing you need to do is decide if you want him to. That may sound silly but its not. If you choose to make a committment to Christ it means giving up your old ways - including pornography. It means living by Gods rules for behaviour toward yourself and others. It means you will face persecution for your faith.

If you really are ready to make that commitment and change your life forever then you should get yoursef a Bible and go and talk to a Priest/Pastor. It will be hard, but they will be able to guide you on your journey of faith.

As for turning gay, you don't turn gay it is something that you are born with, if you are attracted to women, and want a wife you are not gay. I would think that you are just searching for more and more perverse pornography to meet your lustful needs. If you truly put your faith in Christ you can turn from this before it destroys you.

If you want more information about Jesus email me, I'll be happy to help you.

God bless.

Yes Jesus can sort out your life. The idea is to surrender your life completely and make Jesus your Lord. Somethings that are sinful go away right then and other things take time. For me, the porn thing just sort of drifted away slowly.

May the Lord richly bless you.

Friend, it is not too late.

Jesus turns away none than come to Him for help. Confess your sins and He will help...

But there are things we can do, tools that Jesus has given us, to help us receive the help from Him that we need!

The Christian life is alot like a three-legged stool - all three legs must be there or you'll get off balance. For yourself, for any Christian, these three things are absolutely necessary if you want a victorious life, a life full of the peace of God, etc.

1. Read the bible. Study it, memorize it.
2. Pray - pray often, pray before and after you read the bible, bring your needs and desires before God, ask Him for understanding, guidance, help, strength. Pray for others, for family, etc.
3. Fellowship with other believers - get involved in a local church. You say you don't have any friends. Change that. Put footsteps to your desire for something different. Get involved in a local church where people love God and are not ashamed of Jesus Christ.

These three: prayer, bible study, and fellowship with other believers are SO important for any Christian!

God will help you! Turn to Him! Don't wait until tomorrow!

Throw out the junk! If you get "the urge" again, ask God for help. If you fall, get back up. If you sin, ask for help. God will help you overcome!

Get involved with a church! God will help you find one with people who can help and support you!

god bless

Replace the porn with a Bible would be a good start.
Develop a prayer life (regular, daily) which is the only way to keep the porn out.
Get out and find a good Bible teaching church
If you are really serious about victory you probably need to set up an accountibility person (Pastor) to keep you accountable.
It will always be a weak spot for you so you need to be in it for the long haul

You haven't had a girlfriend in 15 years, you have no friends, and don't socialise, and now you're getting sexually turned on by pornographic images?

It's called sexual frustration, it's very common, and it's hardly the end of the world.
Get out there and find yourself a girlfriend; if you can't do that, hire a prostitute; and if that doesn't appeal, masturbate. You'll feel a lot better once you release that repression.

stop and listen to me, really listen.
first of a wife will not make all your problems go away. only GOD can change man, only GOD.
the fact that this stuff bothers you is evidence that HE is ever near you. [someone is praying for you now] can't you feel it.
get rid of that junk, that separates you from the Truth. what you have done in the past is cleaned the house swept it out, but you haven't replaced it with the love and heart of the FATHER. ask the HOLY SPIRIT to come in and change you. you must do your part. and put HIM in you moment by moment. saturate yourself with HIS WORD, HIS MUSIC. fill all those empty spaces in you filled with JESUS. lay out totally naked and cry out to GOD "forgive me i have sinned, i blame no one, i take full responsibility, change me, make me like YOU. i have desires that are ungodly, i have wants that are wicked and produce wickness, self indulgence, self love. GOD i believe in YOU, YOUR BLOOD LORD JESUS. wash me clean, create a new man, a new image. i don't know how to do it, but you do. without YOU LORD GOD i can do nothing"
i was worse than you can even imagine, 8 years ago GOD has delivered me from a life of eternal separation, the choice is ours.
1 cor.6:9 and the Romans chapter 1
helped me to sort out much.
blessings to you my friend, GOD is LIGHT and in HIM there is no darkness at all.

It is never too late for Jesus to help you. If you are truly repentant (which it sounds like you are) and truly want Jesus in your life (which it sounds like you do), then all you have to do is confess your sin to Him and ask Him into your life. He can and will take away all your sin, shame, and guilt and will help you turn your life around. Just understand that your life will not magically be perfect after accepting Christ, as many people seem to believe. You will still have to fight trials and temptations, but you will not have to face them alone.
God bless you!

what you are suffering is depression and loneliness, t is not something that a God could help you with, only you can pull yourself out of your abyss. sex is a personal thing, wanting a wife to full fill these urges, will not endear you to any prospective female. You seem to have self pleasured for so long that you have now taken the female form out of your fantasy, for in effect you are a man who is satisfying himself, while looking at men in female form. try and go as long as you can without self gratification, this will remove sex from the agenda and will help you to focus on companionship and friendship, spending time with others without the pitfalls of sex. you need to get sex out of the equation to move on, when you have done this you can then move slowly towards finding love and companionship. sex is not the for most important thing to life, the most important thing to life is living!
