Regarding situations dealing with the paranormal. It seems like the stenth of the devil is much stronger ..and it bothers me. I mean i know god is strong by leaps and bonds but it just seems like god allows satan to do what he pleases...its scary. I mean i know that god loves us all and he is watching us. But to the families that deal with hauntings and ghost ....why does god allow these things to happen .....I mean i know at times you can do things to open the doors ..but what if a family moves into a place that has a negative history....Its all so confusing to me.

One must remember that the world belongs to Satan. That is quoted in the bible in the book of John in Chapter 18 verse 36 where Jesus is quoted as saying, My Kingdom is not of this world.
It's not that the devil is stronger, it's that there's a severe absence of God or belief therein. With Jesus depticted as the Prince of Light (I am the light) and Satan as the Prince of Darkness. With light representing good and evil represented by darkness. Evil is present where there is lack of light or Satan is present when there is lack of Jesus.
It's not that Jesus has abandonded anyone but that people have abandonded Jesus.
Look at it this way, if these people were truly people of God they would not be found at a seance or anywhere in which hauntings are said to be.
It is written in Galatians 5:20: Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth.
Some people would rather believe a lie and some do not know the word of God because if they did they would not go into places that are not God's.

Given that both god and satan are myths, then you can ascribe anything you don't understand (even if the events you're referring too are mythical as well) to either of them. So for example ghosts and haunting have never had positive proof and serious investigations have always shown physical reasons - serious investigations are not what you generally see on TV.
Also consider that the perception that Satan is stronger is probably a good proof that neither exists.

It all stems back toward faith...if God is with us then who could be against us. Most Christians don't study the Word of God so their faith is weak and therefore they sentance themselves to contantly trying to battle principalities that they have no tools to work against. The little gods...satans...have always been powerless. Look at the ancient idolistic gods and all the other gods and witchcraft and the occult...any power there has always been a delusion...evil spirits may abound and demons may have their way with some but truely...God is in control ultimately and only gives dominion where He allows and where we allow. I know because I've been plagued by a demon of fear...and others...but when I keep my eyes on Christ and crowd those thoughts and obsessions out of my mind with the conquering power of the Word...the satans cannot win. As well, it should be understood that a house divided against itself cannot stand...why would Satan mess with unbelievers or the lost too much so as to drive them in desperation to God? Satan hates any establishment by God...marriage, the family, the church, the Bible, the commandments and blessings such as children and wealth at any level...so Satan, where believers are..will become targets to have their faith tested. They will loose children, they will have illness, they will loose businesses, marriages will have difficulty, etc, etc, etc. Just like in the story Job...Live, Learn, Read, Study and Discern ~J~

Anyone who truly believes in Christ don't normally have problems like that. You have the right to bless a house in the name of Jesus. I live by myself. My building is full of drug use throughout the night and some real freaks get into the building. I get buzzed at all hrs. and I'm never afraid. So when U have these feelings, just say in the name of Jesus, leave my thoughts, and it will work if U believe........

God works in mysterious ways. we can never understand why he does the things he does sometimes. somehow all these bad experiences are supposed to teach us something and it can also open doors.
i believe that without darkness, there is no light.
