Over the past year weird stuff has been happening to me and only me. Not to other people in my family but just me. Stuff like my dvd player just turning on by its self, things disappearing then when i come back there are there again, and lights on when I come home but no one else has been there. Tons of things like that seem sto happen pretty frequently around me. Is it like a ghost? We have this joke that this ghost likes me. Is it harmful and has anyone else had this happen to them? I don't think it's evil. Once something that I was looking for just showed up one day on my dresser and no one put it there. It seems helpful. Just wanted to know your thoughts.

See my father passed away and I made it to the hospital to late my dad had passed away when I pulled in the hospital parking lot. I have had dreams of him alot for the past week and I don't understand it. How can God just take a love one away from the family like this. See I am a christian but I don't understand my dreams I get cold chills at night at my house where my dad slept in my livingroom. It is like he here but I know he is not. See I really don't understand.

Everyone who believes in some god or annother thinks that that god is responsilbe for things in some way or another, like why did god let this happen, or thank u god for healing this person, when in fact those are acts of nature or the body itself. also, why do people say that god allows violence and crime when it is, in fact, people killing and stealing and selling drugs. and people with and without gods seem to think that they cant make a difference in the world because it is too big for them to handle, like moving a mountain or stopping crimes. these modes of thinking just make people think that they can have nothing apart from what is givn them, except for a select few who had enough brains to actually do something. so instead of praying for your god to help you, go out and do something.

I was talking to my uncle about my career and I told him that I wanted to be an archaeologist. He gave me mean look and started talking about how the Ancient Egyptians were destroyed by "god" because they didn't believe and worshipped "false idols"!

The same thing happens at my TEXAS school! The Christian kids seem to sneer and me for trying to learn Egyptian hieroglyphics. They are also really rude when I tell them that I worship Egyptian deities.. Why are they this way to Ancient Egyptians? I've also noticed that they're thins way to Romans and Greeks sometimes too...

Why?

Well, I don't lie or cuss ever. I'm not "born-again". I'm not even Christian. Heck, I'm not even religious or theistic.

So, how do I have these attributes that apparently you can only have and keep as a "born-again" Christian?

when i am done eating he will still eat like 3 more plates. he just keeps eating and eating...sometimes i get so annoyed that i have to go outside and get some air! what should i do? be patient? tell him to stop eating? stop going to chinese buffets altogether? also...instead of pooping at the restaurant, or his own house, he does his business at mine. what a jerk!

This is a comment I hear from many Christians. They tell me that it takes faith, and some even say it takes more faith, not believe in God. If I understand correctly, you people are arguing that it takes faith to no believe in something you have never seen or cannot prove exists. So let me ask you this Christians. Would it be correct to say that the reason I deny the existence of Goblins, Gremlins, Trolls, Big Foot, Santa Clause, Unicorns, Vampires, The Loch Ness monster, and Harry Potter is because I am faithful????
