The only way to experience the truth of Catholicism is by living as faithful Catholics always have, since the beginning.
If that's "trad" then I'm one.

All Catholics should be "traditional" in that they love the treasures of faith and practice that have been handed down from the time of the Apostles.
So yes, I am a Catholic, I love tradition, and I currently attend a Latin Mass parish.

What does that mean?
Oh, you mean "Traditional" Catholic. Well, that depends on what you mean.
If you mean one of those schismatic groups, then, NO, I am not. That is an oxymoron: You can't be a Catholic who breaks away from the Church - that is more like being a protestant.
But, I AM a Catholic who is very traditional. I attend Latin Mass and LOVE it. Here is a pic from my church:

I haven't seen a lot of them on here, but there are a few that do know the teachings of the church fairly well...
I attended the diocesan-approved Latin mass for many years, and always considered myself a traditionalist, though not a Lefebvrite of course.
Then I found out that what I really liked best was the ritual and the Latin, and that led me in other directions.

Um.. isn't it like, a sin for you to be here? Isn't it true that "trad catholics" aren't allowed to watch, or are discouraged from watching tv? Some of the stuff you read on this site has a higher than pg rating and if you're not allowed to watch that stuff, why would you be allowed in a place like this? Do your parents know you're here?!?

I am a traditional Roman Catholic and am proud that I am a follower of the original Christian Church. Jesus said to Peter " Upon this Rock I build my Church". Do not ever be ashaimed of your faith. We have a long unbroken history all the way back to when Jesus was crucified on the cross for our salvation. Remember our faith is full of traditional values that keep us on the path that is less traveled. Jesus said that the road to heaven is full of trials and tribulations. That is why He said not everyone who says they believe will make it to heaven. Jesus said that faith without works is dead. You can't go through life telling others that you are a believer in Jesus Christ and his salvation that he gave us in His death, without expressing your faith through Christian acts of charity. This may not be the answer you were looking for but, I hope it helped you in some way. Remember, God is there for us as long as we keep the faith. God Bless and God be with you and your family.
Thanks,
Don

All Catholics are Traditional.
Holy Tradition is one of the things that makes Catholic Christians a bit different from other Christians.
The trick is not to be too traditional and break away from the Catholic Church.
With love and prayers in Christ.

I don't know about a trad Catholic (whatever that is) but I am a lapsed Catholic. Lapsed all the way to atheism.

I think I am. I am not sure what your definition of traditional, do you mean supportive of church teaching and the curia?
Then yes, I am however a bit less conventional in the expression of my faith. But i love the church and would gladly lay down my life for it.
