I've always enjoyed this one:

A guy is trapped in his house by a flood and he is standing on his porch when a boat comes by to get him.

"No," says the guy. "Thanks, but God will save me."

So the boat goes on. Then the guy is leaning out of the 2nd story window when another boat comes by:

"No, thanks, " says the guy. "God will save me."

When the third boat comes along, he has climbed out onto the roof:

"No, thanks, " he says again. "God will save me."

Finally, he is on the ridgepole with just the tiniest bit of space between him and drowning and a helicopter comes and lowers a ladder to him.

"No, thanks, " he yells above the whirring of the rotor. "God will save me."

Then he drowns.

When he gets to heaven, he asks God "Why did you not save me?"

And God says "I sent you three boats and a helicopter! What more do you want??"

I recently posed a question after my wife caught me cheating on her -with her sister-. People said that I should apologize, but how can I apologize when I DON'T regret it?
It was the MOST heavenly experience I ever had in my whole life!
Her sister is MUCH better at sex than her. It WAS MIND BLOWING! I mean a REAl brain scrambler. The girl must have NO vertabrae. She was fantastic! Am I wrong to be so happy?

The make-up present that I bought her was the Kama Sutra, I figured that it might give my wife a few pointers. But now she says, I am a soundrel. Do you think that I should ask her about a three-way or would that be in bad taste?

Jesus teaches us to love those who hate us. To love and be kind to those who harm us, use us, abuse us, and so on.

Are you capable of this?

Doesn't this run counter so fo much of the human condition?

I can see loving someone who merely hates us from afar. But showing love and kindness to someone who is actively harming me and my loved ones would be very difficult.

How do you do this?

There's this guy that sits in the cubicle next to mine. At least twice per week, he starts clipping his nails. I find it a little bit gross and a little odd that he doesn't take care of his personal grooming either before or after work. Is this appropriate etiquette? Should I let him know that it's a little gross? I'm not the only person to think so.

enough with all the arguements about religions and whatever, I can use whatever bible and talk to whatever religion a person is. On the other hand I don know some denominations don't preach salvation, and that is terrible. Some preach that works get you to heaven or being baptized or being a church member. But friend all those things will not get you to heaven. Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Acts 4 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 16 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

There is many more scriptures, just type in kjv on yahoo and get on a website and search up the word "saved" you can read many more.

Do you remember this cute simple story and it's message, I
recall the first time I head it in grade school! Do you think it should be a must to be read in schools of today?
I found an old copy several years ago and read it to each of my grand children. I read it still some times for my own enjoyment.

I had asked this previously and only got a few answers - probably because it was 3am. So I am trying again during a more reasonable hour:

Personally - I believe:

Religion is like a penis - it is private and you shouldn't try to share it with everyone you meet.

So the point is that it's OK to share faith, I just don't believe it is polite to attempt to share it with every single person you meet. There has to be a line some where.

All of you who complain that Christians are pushing their beliefs into the schools, do you know what I heard on the Mancow show this morning? In New York City, where you can't have a Christmas play in school and where and where you can't say the "Our Father" at a graduation ceremony, the city is funding an Islamic School with a principal that is affiliated with radical Islamic groups. Yes - while you are protesting against Santa Claus in a school play, local governments are funding the teaching of Islam. Here is the website that Mancow gave on his show:

I'd like to know what you guys think about that.
