A little boy called Johnny was in a clasroom with a teacher who was telling the class about evolution. The scientist teacher said that people came from a monkey. All the class drew pictures of the monkey and made them stand up like a man.

Except for the little boy called Johnny. He was crying and his pencil was not touched the paper yet.

The scientist teacher asked: "Little Johnny why do you cry, and why do you not draw the monkey-man-transition'?

Johnny sniffed his tears away and said:

"Mommy and daddy said that I will go 2 hell if I don't belive that the Christian God made a man perfect from his divine will"

The scientist teacher put his atheist/communist hand on Johnny's shoulder and said:

"You have religious parents Johnny, and we all have different ideas about how man came to be, but this is science class..."
Johnny then stood up straight as a rod and pointed at the teacher as all the class gasped. He said loudly: "You will burn in hell!" .

It don't make no sense!

Since the bible proves that we was created by God, why don't they teach creation?

I think we, as a society, have come to a point where we need to ask the proverbial question, 'is the children learning'?

when people call themselves a pagan what exactly are they saying they are? Is it related to witchcraft, or just a non-Christian type of religion? Do you believe in a diety or do you 'worship' natural things (sun, moon, stars...)

I keep reading comments that say things like "God is a fairy tale," "you must be retarded if you believe," "xxxxx religion is a cult." Some people make comments about things they don't know anything about and call it fact. Sometimes it is really hurtful!

Do they really believe this garbage or are they just trying to be nasty?

Does any other religious sect use the term "born again"? I notice many people just assume it's a bunch of nonesense.
Have you asked God to explain his word to you and if it's true to please open your eyes so you can see?

I believe that it is emproper to belch and pass gas around people when it can be helped, this includes family. My co-worker thinks Im being to "proper" and "to strict" about this. I think its digusting for someone to pass gas or belch because they think its funny. She said her and her kids get a kick out of pasisng gas and belching in front of each other. Who is right?

I'd like to pose a counter-question to a question that was posed earlier. Do you have to read a Bible to be a good Christian? I say, "no". As I said to the last questioner, Christianity and the Church came BEFORE the Bible. The first Christians listened to teachers and preachers, and, if they were lucky, the Apostles. The Bible was not necessary for the first Christians to be "good" Christians.
Even centuries later, after the Bible was canonized in the 4th century, it was not available to the average Christian for centuries afterward until the printing press was invented. Are the Christians who lived all those centuries unsaved because they had no Bible? Of course not!
The Bible is the Word of God, and its great to have and to read. But if every Bible magically disappeared from the face of the earth today, the Faith and the Church would go on. That is why Christ established a CHURCH, not a Bible.
