It's called The Academic Study of World Religions

With a B.A. or Master's Degree in "Academic Study of World Religions" you can teach as a Professor in Universities or Work as a Historian.

In my univ it called as Religion Phenomena. U will learn all the basic thinking from the religions.
what kind of job? well, maybe
1.lecturer for the same study (not so many people learn this so u have more chance)
2.religions specialist, ur comment is supposed to be appear in the newspaper's column when an interesting event linked with religion happened

In American Universities they call it as "Comparitive Religion".If you say "Theology" mostly only Christian theology with microscopic mention of other religious faiths are offered.You can become an Academic Expert at the most.

Theology. You can become a scholar, historian, philosopher, et cetera... Decent pay in advanced level, but it's more about how you wish to express yourself: Not that you're getting money.
