No. What good would it do. My son would have a human daddy & he wouldn't be sinless. So, he wouldn't be able to raise from the dead.
Jesus was planned to come at the time He did. Born of a virgin... He was born without the sin nature. He bore our sins on the cross. He raised from the dead so we, who believe in Him will raise from the dead also.
God did this, because this is worse sin to torture an innocent to death. And people have throughout history passed their kids through the fire to their devils. So? God gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will receive ever lasting life. So? What would it accomplish to sacrifice ones child? No sacrifice will compare to the 'Lamb of God' since the foundation.
And may of those who are born again Christians were also martyred by being hung on a cross. Not too long ago in Iraq, a young boy was hung on a cross & killed because of his faith in Christ. It is the Sunnie & Shiite stronghold areas who did this. And resulted in a Christian exodus out of Iraq.

Jesus is God in the Flesh... So basically the question should be would you allow yourself to be crucified on the cross to take away the sins of the world if the Lord God had not already made the ultimate sacrafice?
For this world heck no I would not sacrafice my son....But than again I am not the all mighty all loving God.

If it meant saving all of mankind, and giving them eternal life - Yep - I surely would.
"If God hadn't allow Jesus to do so?" - Now that changes things as Jesus Was the Son of God! If God didn't want His Son to Glorify His Name, He could have stopped it at any time.

Jesus was the chosen one God can not be compared to man. Man should compare himself to God. The more we know God we began to enter into his rest. We do not fear. we love. Jesus said take my yoke upon you and learn of me and in me you will find rest for your souls. It is in that rest we have peace of mind. Philippians 3:8-11. When we desire to know God that is when we begin to enter into his rest. Anything we knew or gained to know is rubbish. Things that once bothered us no longer matters. We lean on God. Jeremiah 29:11.

So God came to Earth in the form of a human so he could sacrifice himself to himself? Right that makes a whole lot of sense.

Uh, NO! I wouldn't give "either" of my children to anyone, never mind for the purpose of death... and I certainly don't believe this god you speak of did either. If god gave you sin, then why would he "make" someone die to forgive you of the sin he gave you in the first place? We humans can be pretty creative when writing fiction, but in this case, they weren't very insightful or creative!

Sure, for the good of humanity...but I'm 14, I don't have a son. (thankfully)
Oh, and Ooz, it wasn't a "blood sacrifice", get a Bible.
Guys, God let his son be killed because he knew he would come right back to Heaven with him. He knows physical pain is nothing. Death is far from the worst that can happen to you... Heaven sounds more fun than Earth to me.

I would have to say if God gave me the instruction......my mouth says yes god I'll do anything for you but right now at this very moment my heart says no. I dont have any childern and I dont know what its' like to really feel that type of love like god has for me. But I do have the faith that I will be there no day, Knowing in my heart that what God has for me and what he tells me to do is just for me.
