enough with all the arguements about religions and whatever, I can use whatever bible and talk to whatever religion a person is. On the other hand I don know some denominations don't preach salvation, and that is terrible. Some preach that works get you to heaven or being baptized or being a church member. But friend all those things will not get you to heaven. Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Acts 4 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 16 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
There is many more scriptures, just type in kjv on yahoo and get on a website and search up the word "saved" you can read many more.

No.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.
Only a small number will be taken to heaven.
(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.
Do you think you qualify?

i believe that when a person dies, the spirit will separate from the body and will go to the world of spirits. there is no hell but there is a heaven wherein we can meet our Almighty Father but just until the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ..(in the place where Almighty Father lives there will be no more famine, afflictions, war & other hardships & failures.) we will face the judgment if we are worthy we will be resurrected like Jesus through exaltation and will live in a perfect place with Our Heavenly Father. *if we are not worthy we will not be able to have perfect body ever again*

There is no evidence that a "heaven" exists. However, I'm curious why you think that getting to "heaven" through "works" is a bad thing. I would much rather be involved in a religion that had its members earn its way into heaven than one that gives even the most evil members a ticket to paradise at the saying of a simple phrase. What nonsense.
How is it just that someone like Hitler could very well be in heaven if he confessed his devotion to Jesus, whereas someone like Gandhi would be in hell? That's one f'd up religion I don't want any part of.

And that is your take on what gets you to heaven....just because your faith (baptist) believes a certain thing, doesnt mean the others have to follow suit. Some faiths follow more literal interpretations of the bible than others....not one way is the right way...its the right way for a particular person...

My mum always told me, Chrissy, make sure you've got clean underpants on in case you're hit by a bus and go to heaven. I don't want God telling me I've been a careless mother.

God Bless America, a Nation on which his principles we stand....
I have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I have repented of my sins and spend my days trying to glorify him. I love him and worship our Lord God...for this my treasure lay in wait in Heaven. A treasure of eternal worship and closeness with our Father God.

The bible also claims that vegetation grew on the earth before the sun and stars were in existence.
If we know the biblical stories about the past are flawed, why should we trust what it says about the future.
