Now I have just read this article and am shocked to see that they are not interested in the real problems of the world. Think about it right, our act of love between two woman and two men is not that big in the the rewritten and revised bible right (please do correct me) compared to love, compassion, forgiveness, charity, KINDNESS and self worth. Instead of carrying on about how bad we are as people because we are able to love why do they not focus more energy on helping people and real life tragedies such as the floods, such as poverty, such as homelessness.

If they are so intent on getting to us gay people who are proud why don't they start within the church like weeding out paedophillic priests... and so on...

I do apologize for my anger about this.

Why is that in the public school system they are allowed to teach about a theory such as the Big Bang but not a theory such as God.

Both have not been proven yet 1 is allowed to be taught and accepted in the school systems while the other is not..

just does not make sense.. thanks in advance

I'll go first:
Worst possible thing: Hell

Does God advocate it?
Yes, since he created it and allows people to go there.

Does Satan advocate it?
No, since he opposes God's plans

Why is it that the worst possible thing is desired by the most loving being?

My partner and I have just moved to France to retire, After a life time of working I have waited for this moment, fishing, writing, painting, generally loafing around. Since we came here 1 year ago I have built a new kitchen, redecorated 3 of the 5 bedrooms, built furniture, built a dining room re floored 6 rooms, I am tired out. When I mentioned painting to my partner, bless her, she bought me a 5 litre tub of emulsion and a new roller. Do other retired menfolk have this problem?

p.s. Wouldn't change her for anything...well maybe a new car

I have had such a rapid change in my life due to no outside facotrs (such as death of family, extreme event etc) that God is real and I should change my life for a life with him.

I am not mad, delusional, prone to gulibility or ill nor am I stupid, uneducated or lonely. My life has been based upon science and engineering, yet still I cannot deny God. I am happily married with great kids a good job and life is generally good (and has been for a while).

How can I have such a strong compulsion for God and Jesus Christ if it's all a bunch of ****?

There's this family that tends to cause trouble whenever they enter the store. Several times they have pushed away other customers saying that they were first in line. Other times if their prescription or photos are even 30 seconds late they cause a scene. Order being 30 seconds late I kinda understand but there's no excuse to pushing someone out of line. They are either Indian or Middle eastern. last name is Zand. I was just wondering if this is appropriate for their culture, so that's why they behave the way they do? I know some cultures, including mine, have certain behaviors that are considered appropriate if you have a certain ranking or make a certain amount of money that are considered inappropriate here. I want actual facts no stereotypes.

He uttered not one word about starting a new religion. He called for the Jewish elders to reform their practices and to put the needs of the people before their own. But he remained a Jew in every respect.

Don't get me wrong. I like affection. But I kinda relate it to this: I'm like a cat..I want attention when *I* want it, not when you want to give it to me, and when I want it, I want it right then and there. Otherwise, leave me alone.
My g/f on the otherhand loves to show affection..a LOT. She says she will even do it if it annoys me, because she'd rather show me she loves and me and have me know it, but be annoyed, than have her NOT show it to me, and me feel neglected. I guess she has a point, but how do I get her to calm down a little?

First, do you believe that life has a hidden/obvious meaning that is the same for all people ~

~ or do you believe that life has no default meaning and you have to make one yourself?

Either way, does it bother you that, realistically speaking, life really has no meaning?

The tables were very close together and the people on the next table not only waved their cutlery about (surprised they knew what it was for), but talked while shovelling vast quantities of food into their mouths. Then they removed bits and but them back on the plate and discussed, at length, at the top of their voices, what these 'bits' might be! Yuk, we had to go, couldn't enjoy our meal with them next to us!

When I was on the school's computer, I wanted to go to witchvox. com to check on something and the school blocked it for cults. I was so angry, the way it insulted my religion, but that's not my only problem other kids. I was borrowing a Silver Ravenwolf book from the school library and during class, someone looked into my backpack and took it out while I was in the bathroom. Hey who's solitary witch book is it, is that book real. I walked back into class, and I was shocked to see someone else with my book. I tried to grab it back, I call it a very sacred book, and those stupid kids will ruin it. The teacher got up from her desk and confiscated the book, she called me after class and called my parents. The principal said if I get caught with a pentacle and a witchcraft book, I will get suspended, the same goes for other young witches and wiccans. The announcements said, any student caught with any material associated with cults will be suspended for 5 days. Should I sue them?

Isn't this a simple act of citizenship?...

Being a US foreigner i just feel compelled to ask you to press your "democratic representants" and use the democratic means for the truth.

I've seen a few 9/11 documentaries but this doesn't seem to be very debatable:

I don't know how many of you are aware of these movements but i was impressed to see that they date back 2002 and little has changed since then (at least that i'm aware). However the awareness of people seems to be expanding...including my one.

Manifest!
This might be the best thing you can do to make this a better place... do it for all the world citizens, not only for your country!

What makes you a Christian is your belief in God and the Christian plan for salvation, not your actions. Sure we can say how a Christian "should" act. But we can't judge the state of their Christianity.

A lady posted this in her answer to one of my questions today.

Don't get me wrong I have attended many different churchs that preached many different religions and I've decided I'm just not that into it. I never agree with everything ONE religion says. Why is it people constantly try to push not only a religion on others but THEIR religion? Why do some people feel that one must be part of a religion? Why are there soooo many emails out there that get passed on from one person to another that relates to religion?

And the major question, if you knew one of your friends were not all that religious or into religion would you send religious emails to them?

Do you think that's fair?

Even the Baptists have several denominations.

How did this situation get so lop-sided?

What is your view of people who don't convert to the Jewish faith? Will GOD punish them forever in Hell? Since Muslim and Christians follow the Old Testament laws (to some degree) and worship the same GOD, will they see heaven? What is heaven like? Is there something you must do in order to enter heaven?

Why is it so hard to forgive when someone wrongs us?

The man I love recently did somethat, that equates to cheating. I've forgiven him for past offenses, but none were ever this bad. This time, I'm hurt so deeply that I am filled with depression.

If we are supposed to love and forgive, as Christ loves and forgives us, why can't I find it in me to do so?

Is there anyone who can help me with this?

Please don't be heartless with your replies. I am in deep need of assistance here.
