When answering this question, try to make it as secular as possible and do not say "because I believe so" or "because I said so" or anything like that. And please do not say because God created us so we must be precious.

What can it do for me that the Bible can't? I have spoke to many Mormons and they always tell me about Joseph Smith and the book of Mormon. But they never say what the book can do for me.
Remember I never asked about the church or the temple, I just want to know how the book of Mormon can change my life.

I mean even the contradiction's among believers is enough to stimulate their God given thuoght process. Non-believers at least have HARD proof, and I mean HARD they may not admit it, but Believers have to be (((shaken)))) and (((Quaken))) just a little, I dare say some are falling out of the bad habit of religion, especially if there hanging in this Q&A section.

Please, keep your responses specific and make sure that you use proper grammar and spelling, otherwise your answer will be ignored.

If anyone posts a good rebuttal that I can't properly refute (I'll be emailing you, so be prepared), then I'll award them best answer. I promise that I'll be sincere in my judging, as far as "properly refuting" goes. Also, please no logical fallacies, those make me slightly perturbed.

I am half Native and half White. I never had a problem with accepting both. But someone at work who claimed to be a christian became nasty toward me when he found out I was half native. I took offence to his behavior because I have always been proud of my familys background. I'm also christian, I just don't understand how someone can be so judgemential over someone else. I was tought that being so judgemential was a sin. I beleive that to be true. What do you think?

I see religious folks come out with all sorts of amusing rationalisations for objecting to homosexuality - "It's not natural" (is flying to the moon natural?); "It doesn't produce children" (we don't say infertile couples should split up); "It harms marriage" (how can more marriage harm marriage?) and so on. Then they quote some bit of scripture almost as an afterthought. Is the scripture not enough, by itself? Why not just say "My religion says it's wrong, so it's wrong, end of story"?
