I think all these groups find it easier to attack Christians. Here are some reasons. Atheists and Agnostics know they cannot Islam, because the consequences could be dire. MUslims feel all christians have gone astray so they need to convert all Christians to Islam. That is why you see all these groups attacking Christianity.

I think that you are trying to stir up trouble. Muslims, pagans and agnostics are the groups least challenged on here. I respect no religions because I'm an atheist. People I can respect, if they give respect. But don't expect me to respect your false religions. Most atheists know the Bible better than Christians, and if they quote the Bible...they know what they are talking about. I've seen more Christians on here just put a scripture out there that has nothing to do with what is being discussed. If you find heat towards your group from atheists, 9 time out of 10 there's a reason.

Seriously, you are a moron. Atheists do not believe in god(s). Do the minimum research on something you are going to post about. It does help to give the appearance of vague intelligence.

As for what other religions believe or disbelieve that has absolutely NOTHING to do with Atheism. The concept of us joining forces is so ridiculous it is really not worth commenting on.

Atheist.

All religion is a target to me, but seeing as I know more about christanity (having been born into a catholic family) I am more knowledgable about it than for Islam, Bhuddism, Paganism, or any of the other beliefs here.

And I wasn't aware that I was joining forces with others!

An atheist

I think you are as intolerant as the people you profess to be intolerant. This is an open board and not just a christian one so everyone is allowed to express their own opinion. It seems that the people of any belief with a persecution complex are those that aren't completely comfortable in their beliefs because otherwise why would another persons opinion rattle someone or matter so much then? I am completely comfortable in mine.

I have respect for religions, and some of the people that believe in these religions. I just don't have respect for the ones that try to shove their religion down my throat. If they can't respect me enough to realize that I don't share their beliefs, why should I respect them as a person?

As an Atheist I see Islam as foolish as Christianity.
I have seen many Christians on here call Muhammad a pedophile among other things that is hardly respecting another religion is it?

I think you're whining "persecution". Blah blah blah...

Christianity is the most heavily respected religious practice in the US. It's endorsed by the US government, and 90% of the population claim to practice that religious belief system.

I'm sorry...what were you whining about again????

Because Christianity keeps on trying to mess with my life, and the lives of those around me.

Just stop the interference in laws, politics, medicine, science, reproduction, education, sexuality and war, and I'll say no more about it.

They don't join forces, really. It probably seems that way to you because one of the requirements of the "True Believer" according to Eric Hoffer, is that he or she believe him or herself to be persecuted.

Christians tend, as many religionists do, to believe that they have an exclusive grasp of the "Truth," which leads them to be a bit aggressive in their proselytizing. When people of another faith, or of no particular faith, reject their efforts at conversion, Christians seem to view this as an attack on their faith.
