This is a test. What are your beliefs concerning Hell? Concerning evolution? Concerning the Trinity? Concerning Jesus Christ as God's son and his ransom sacrifice?

I would like to see how many people post the same answers, use the same scriptures to prove what they are saying, etc.
I wish to see if all the people who belong to this one religion believe the same things.

I say Naye, this will not stand, it has no legs. There's a storm coming and its not religious, even if believers all have some-kinda doomsday prophesy. I know this house of cards will fall, because technology and science dictates change. The education revolution is here, and it will leave sheep in its wake. In my lifetime I will see a Great man take the oath of office on a book of science, and sheep will be allowed to go back in their closet. A little heads up, there's a sleeping majority in this country that haven't (woke-up) it's coming. And Its okay

Isaac Asimov’s remarks about the infantilism of pseudoscience are just as applicable to religion: ‘Inspect every piece of pseudoscience and you will find a security blanket, a thumb to suck, a skirt to hold.’
It is astonishing, moreover, how many people are unable to understand that ‘X is ‘comforting’ does not imply ‘X’ is true.
God or no God, it’s clear that something in the human soul requires a belief that life has a purpose that transcends the material plane. Yes, yet again the consolation-content of a belief does not raise its truth-value.

In the article about Japanese behavior in the following web site, what does "depracating" mean? I think it is mis-spelled of depreciation or deprecating. Please teach me.
http://www.eigotown.com/culture/story/kodansha/nihon-jin2.shtml

Japanese use humility and depracation when talking about members of their inner group to those on the outside.

When introducing one's family, those who are closest to you, take special care to be humble and depracating.

That is why the husband introduces his beloved wife in a depracating way to outsiders, even though in fact he cares deeply about her.

At the same time, Japanese should be aware that this kind of depracating approach might be taken in the wrong way by foreigners.

Has anyone else read them and what did you think of them.

prevalent in India. I see Indian people doing it in the UK all the time and it is really disgusting.

Do not say this is a racist question as one of your own people asked the same question on Yahoo Answers but he went so far as to say that Indian people also litter and p*** on the ground!

I left the Mormon Church because they are too uptight.

Islam is out because I don't want my husband to beat me and I look horrible in a burka. Plus the whole "Kill the Infidel" theme is a bit too butch.

What about the Catholics?

There are many religions out there and each one claims that they're the one and only right one and all the others are wrong. I'm not Jewish, but Jesus was, so should we all be Jewish?

But the question is:

What makes you so certain that you're religion has got it right and every other religion or non-belivers have got it wrong?
After all, the only reason you happen to be in the religion you're in is because you just happened to be born in to a family or country that is of that religion.

This is not an opportunity to attack other religions or atheists since I'm sure that they'll also be sure that they have it right and you don't and its not answering my question anyway.
