I left the Mormon Church because they are too uptight.
Islam is out because I don't want my husband to beat me and I look horrible in a burka. Plus the whole "Kill the Infidel" theme is a bit too butch.
What about the Catholics?

You say your are a Mormon and this is much like many others that place women in a lower status. And there is something to this," lowr status" as woman are emotion driven and men are not. Women once a mouth are close to psychos which would be good in the military only. OK now I look like a male chauvinist and may be a little. But any and all should be equal between men and women. Mormons that I have seen in Montana are not fair at all to women. So it is not the name but the people and I am sure there are good Mormons as other Christians and there are bad ones in each. It is what is in side of your heart. But for Islam, a stripper would fit right in as they do have harems and hookers. They get them from the infidels who are not equal so it is OK for them to do the deed. And if you are going to be a Christian you should not be a stripper and I think you are not but as I sent in a e-mail I know who you are.

No, the catholics have bad habits. Join the church of everlasting mayhem. they don't care what you do. It only costs about sixteen dollars a year and that is just pennies a day. If you want to be a deacon, it's 35 dollars a year and you can be a preacher for 250. 00 a year. All money is paid in advance.

In all honesty (and I'm Mormon), I think the best fit would be Unitarian Universalists or any "storefront" christian church. I certainly have nothing against those faiths and had a good friend who attended one, which I attended on occassion with them. If you are going to live the teachings of the church you are looking for I don't think Catholicism is a fit. Good luck!

Catholocism...hmm...sounds like a lot of time spent in a confessional booth. I'd recommend anything new agey. That always seemed to be the predominant choice at my club. Unitarians and Pagans are probably going to be the most accepting.

You decide on what religion you believe in based on acceptance of your job?
Would in not be better to decide what the true religion is and then change your job if you need to.
Or decide that it is all a fantasy based on a 4000 year old book and become an atheist. Then you can do what you feel is ethically justified rather than what some up-tight, possibly hypocratic preist tells you.

Eliminate religion from Your Life
and DO this (your husband can do this too !):
Create Your Relationship with Our Creator
and have UnConditional Love and Peace in Your Life.

Try a Tradition of Wicca. One of the more 'traditional' traditons NOT Dianic. Also modern Satanism could be okay.
If not, you could always try Reformed Judaism or Progressive Christianity. Both of those are pretty laid-back.

Im catholic, and in our religion its all about love, and forgiveness, but most of all its about giving from urself unselfishly to your neighbor no matter who or where your neighbor is. Unlike most christian religion, catholicsim honor the virgin mary(a woman) as the queen of heaven so from here you can understand the respect we are taught to have for women:). No one is perfect as we have all sinned so we are all equal here.
If you have love in your heart for others this is the first key to our religion.

I am sure if you started your own church you would have a huge following. And the plate would surly be full when it was passed. You could call it the church of the brass pole. You could preach scripture mingled with sin of the flesh.
