This is a test. What are your beliefs concerning Hell? Concerning evolution? Concerning the Trinity? Concerning Jesus Christ as God's son and his ransom sacrifice?

I would like to see how many people post the same answers, use the same scriptures to prove what they are saying, etc.
I wish to see if all the people who belong to this one religion believe the same things.

I'm not trying to trip anyone up, I just want to know if you all believe the same things. What's so difficult about that? If you are of the same religion shouldn't you believe the same things?

It seems unwise and lacking in humility to "put to the test" anyone. The bible teaches that the truth would yield "fruit" which could be readily observed.

Perhaps it makes sense to recall who it was who insisted on such "testing", rather than simply listening and observing.

(Mark 10:1-2) [Jesus] again went teaching them. Pharisees now approached and, to put him to the test, began questioning him

(Mark 8:11) Here the Pharisees came out and started disputing with [Jesus], seeking from him a sign from heaven, to put him to the test.

(Matthew 22:18) Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said: “Why do you put me to the test, hypocrites?

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Here are my beliefs.
Hell is the common grave of all mankind. It is the equivalent of the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek Hades. It is NOT a place of torment.
Evolution is a theory of how life developed from lifeless organisms and is not in harmony with Bible teachings so we do not believe it. Our beliefs are not however, the same as so called creationists who believe that the universe and all life was created in 7 days. We understand the word "day" in Genesis to mean an indeterminate period of time similar to the way you might say "in my day..." (Note Genesis 5:2)
Neither the word trinity nor the concept is found in the scriptures. Rather, Jesus Christ always gave glory to his Father, Jehovah and freely acknowledged that his Father was greater. (John 14:28) The holy spirit is God's active force that he uses to accomplish his will. Matthew 16:15-17 shows who God revealed Jesus to be.
Jesus ransom sacrifice was necessary because of our inherited sinful nature. (Romans 5:12, 6:23,) God showed his deep love for us in sending his own son to suffer for us.(1John 4:9-10, John 3:16) Jesus Christ, who had a special love for mankind (Proverbs 8:31), willingly carried out his Father's will in this. (Matthew 26:39, 1Peter 2:24)

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Our belief about hell - Hell is the common grave of mankind. There is not a burning place where people are sent to be tortured. When you die, you are dead, your soul is dead. You know nothing, have no feelings, thoughts or anything else. The Bible backs up what I say at Ezekiel 18: 4 and Psalm 146: 4.

Our belief about Evolution - Genesis 1:1 - God created the earth. Genesis 2:7 - God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. God did not use evolution to create anything.

The Trinity - Is a man-made concept. Not from the Bible at all. Jesus said that the father is greater than he was, Jesus prayed to his father, not to himself, the holy spirit is not even a person, so how could it be considered to be equal to God? John 17: 3 - tells us that God sent his son forth and that we have to take in knowledge of them both. If they were the same why would the Bible list them separate people? Why not just say take in knowledge of God?

Jesus is God's (Jehovah's) only begotten son whom he sent to the earth as a perfect ransom sacrifice for us. Adam was perfect, until he sinned and lost his life because of that. Therefore the ransom required a perfect life for the ransom, thus Jesus. Matt. 20: 28; 1 Tim. 2: 5-6;

1) Hell--the common grave of mankind.
Not a place where the immortal* soul lives on in torture for forever. Man's lies.
2) Evolution--We didn't come from monkeys or mud.
We were created.
From the earth itself, w/ the breath of God.
3) Trinity--LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4a) Jesus Christ is the only begotten-god,
the 1st born of all creation.
4b) He paid the price to buy us back from our bondage to sin & death.

*immortal soul-Not a biblical teaching.

I serve Jehovah God, and tell ppl so,
(live this way also)

All JWs around the world (238 countries) believe exactly the same and preach exactly the same message God´s kingdom as the solution of all problems of mankind, if hell is biblical then God created a places to torture people before created them so that implies he is a sadic that enjoy torturing people or he is not almighty that can´t destroy the soul of evil people, which one you prefer a sadic God or a non-almighty one?

Well I am not a JW but I know a lot about them. They don't believe in Hell at all. They believe if you are not chosen by God to live in the new world order that when you die that is it and you are cut off, your light is turned off so to speak and that is that. They don't believe in evolution. They don't believe in the trinity, but that the father and son are separate (actually I know this is what the bible actually teaches as I have done my own reasearch) and that the holy ghost is the energy of God but not a separate thinking entity. They do believe Jesus was the son of God, and not God and that he died so that those who repent will have a chance because they think without his death there is no blood for blood price paid. Personally, the whole thought that destroying a human body pays for anything, especially when it is acknowledge that the his soul continued on unharmed really makes no sense. To say that God is so rigid in his rules, even in regard to himself, that he cannot choose to forgive whomever he wants whenever he wants without innocent blood spilled really makes no sense at all. Fortunately, we are all eternal and we all come back into the presence of the creator when we die without retribution. Think about, it this way. Is not the Father of us all the ultimate parent? Shouldn't we follow his example in raising our own children? So if we have a kid who is always getting into trouble and doing bad things... would it be okay to hold that childs hand on a hot stove as a punishment? Of course, what a monsterous thing. Yet religions teach that God would burn us in Hell forever over sins committed in a very short life or some even think if you are not officially 'saved' that you burn. Sickening that people would attribute the creator with such terrible thoughts. JWs thinking that we are cut off completely is not much better. What would you think of a parent who locked their child in solitary confinement in a soundproof lightproof room for eternity on account of the fact they were doing bad things? We would throw that person under the jail, as a total monster. Therefore, it is easy to see that all these notions of eternal damnation, whatever form it takes, are obscene.

JW’s have their magazines, watchtower books, and the nwt which is a neutered satanic translation. These are additions to Scripture.

You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deut. 4:2

Beware of the scribes. Luke 20:46

Jesus was Michael the archangel who became a man, The Watchtower, May 15,

Scripture says…

For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 7

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 9

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Ex. 3:14

Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Phil. 2:5-8

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Gal. 4:4-5

The Holy Spirit is a force, not alive, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp.
406-407.

Scripture says…

1. Jehovah's Witnesses teach that the Holy Spirit is an active force like radar. They deny that He is alive, that He is a person. This is, of course, because they deny the Trinity. Yet, if the Holy Spirit is simply a force then...
1. Why is He called God (Acts 5:3-5)?
2. How is it that He can teach (John 14:26)?
3. How can He be blasphemed (Matt. 12:31,32)?
4. How can be the one who comforts (Acts 9:31)?
5. How is it possible for Him to speak (Acts 28:25)?
6. How then can He be resisted (Acts 7:51)?
7. How can He be grieved (Eph. 4:30)?
8. How can He help us in our weaknesses (Rom. 8:26)?
2. If the Holy Spirit is a force, then how is it possible that the above mentioned phenomena are attributed to Him? A force doesn't speak, teach, comfort, etc.
3. Nor can you blaspheme against a force.

There is no hell of fire where the wicked are punished, Let God be True, p. 79, 80.

Scripture says…

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Rev. 21:8

Luke 16:19-31

In no way, shape, or form does JW doctrine align with the Bible.

And the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. Jer. 14:14

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Gal. 1:6-9

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. 2 Cor. 11:13-15

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 Pet. 2:1

Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man,
But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel. Prov. 20:17

Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. Matt. 22:29

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim. 3:16-17

To JW’s

Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? Gal. 4:16
