Well Dr. Bologna™ if you want to believe in the existence of Zeus and the Flying Spaghetti Monster, then you just go ahead and believe. I'm not stopping you.

Because Zeus and the FSM weren't clever enough to inspire a book 2000 years ago and fool millions of followers into believing it. Zeus and FSM are catching up (I think in the thousands), but they still have a ways to go.
I've got to hand it to the Christian God, however, that was some foresight and planning for the future. I wish I'd thought of it too, "The Bible is true because God said so and we know God is true because the Bible said so."
I'd be sitting on a gold mine.

It's hypocritical saying that the inability to prove the non-existence of the Christian God proves his existence, when logically, that same standard of proof applies equally to FSM and Zeus.

Don't be ridiculous. The FSM and God are not real.
Zeus is integral to Homer's Odyssey and Iliad. Since they talk about a whole load of places and people who have been proved to be real, then Zeus, Aphrodite, et al. MUST be real too.

Personally, I'd don't see why they couldn't. I just choose not to worship them. FSM???
And actually the Bible says absolutely nothing about other gods not existing. It just says not to worship them, above God. It insinuates that serving two Gods is impossible, not being able to serve "two masters" or "a house divided against itself".

There is an old saying that goes something like "When you understand why you reject the existance of other gods, then you will understand why I reject the existance of yours."
What is FSM?

Good point. The believers of those gods were just as adamant in their beliefs as Christians are in their God.

because Zeus never "lived" there is no history of his existence.
Jesus was a "real" person, with many eye wittiness.
we can visit where he was crucified, where he was born, etc.
and FSM is like Horton hears a who.
