*Is Catholic*

Many and actually all. Catholicism is united with science and rests on science, but it does not rest solely upon science. It rests also on philosophy, metaphysics, history, rationality, anthropology, archeology, logic as well as Revelation.

If you came to me and wished to know Catholic theology at a very deep level, I'd first teach you history, then philosophy and metaphysics as well as how to engage the mind in rational discourse.

Revelation completes and transcends what the world around us is telling us. They do not compete but they both speak towards the same thing. That is why Catholic theology cannot be done with scripture alone, because scripture is not the only truth, rather only a higher truth. Catholic theology must be conducted as a science because its subject is the capstone, the summation of all the sciences.

So you say what evidence... I say to you, what evidence would you accept?

The curious thing about the Church
is that, since it is the mystical Body of Christ, it exists before it
has any members, since the animating life of the Church is not you or
me, but the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. It is He, not we, who makes it
holy. That is why we can speak of the Church as holy, despite the sins
of all and we do mean all its members here on earth. The Lord is our
holiness.

Beyond the BIBLE -- **nothing**! Everything else that it's based on is hokey and humanly-contrived **dogma.** With which it has CONNED billions of people to join or remain in that cult -- or else!

The very best FAVOR that that church could do for a Catholic is to excommunicate him!
