God admired (HIS) it's important that God is male, creations but they werent writers or church builders, even though they had millions of years to evolve into. God got frustrated, (and don't say HE does'nt cuz there's all kinds of text that says he does) and sends a space chunk to wipe out his creations well at least the big ones. This HE hoped would give the mammels a chance to evolve into writing church builders, HE was frustated again when it took 65 meellion yrs. But we can only hope that HE'S happy now, because if HE'S not ,we all know what HE'S cappable of. Now I want you all to notice answers of the christians who believe in evolution and the ones who don't. And don't let the crickets get my Question, be strong christian's and straighten me out. Who knows it's Sunday and it could be possible to prostylatze and have a new holy warrior.

To liken Jesus to a stronghold is to ascribe to him a number of characteristics that are vital to our salvation. First and foremost is his unassailableness. Christ proved himself to be morally unconquerable.

Jeremiah celebrated this truth when he wrote" "Their redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land" (Jerimiah 50:34).

Christ made himself vulnerable in this world. He became invulnerable throughout the universe. He became assailable in time in order to be unassailable throughout eternity. He allowed himself to be unprotected while dying so that we might be protected while living.

Christ is our impregnable stronghold.

" The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man-upright and in right standing with God-runs into it and is safe, high and strong". -----Proverbs 18:10

when a you a problem? I talk to my Imam (like a priest or rabbi for those of you who don't know what an Imam is). When I have a problem, just by talking to him, makes me feel happy and whatever the problem is, it seems to become so small. God bless him, he is a very dear person to me.
Is there a person in your life that you turn to, who makes you feel better and cheers you up when you have a problem?

What was the point of God making people sinful? Why couldn't he have created all good in the world in the first place instead of evil people too? Why go through all that trouble making Jesus for the purpose of forgiving their sins? Just make humans with no sin!! It's that simple!! If he can do it of course. I'm not saying he can. This is part of why I am in between religions. Cuz a lot of this doesn't make any sense.

We are admonished to test the spirits behind folk's actions. We are to judge a tree by its fruit. I want to know what kind of fruit certain people bear......what kind of spirit is behind their 'ministry'.....these people are Benny Hinn and Richard Roberts, Pat Robertson, Kenneths Copeland and Hagin Jr. What say you ???

Jesus our true God is comeing back soon. No one knows when. Only God knows when. Thats why you need to get your heart right with Jesus. You never know when He will come or if something happens to you before that happens. Praying for the lost!

God is spposedly all knowing. Thus He knows all. He knew what people would be thinking about here milleneums later...after HIS word was spread amongst us all.
I'm not anti-semitic. but I must wonder why we hear so much about a "Promised Land" and a "Chosen People" --- If the land is truly "Promised," did God not "promise" other land to other people?

It is difficult to believe that He "chose" Jewish people above all others.
Besides, God only "promised" land if Jews "avoided war and strife".
(and yes I am aware of the Holocaust.)
They have done just the opposite.
If we follow what we are led to believe, keeping in mind that Jews never try to convert others to the Jewish faith, it is as though these people only seek to rule the world.
and so who wrote the books of the Bible anyway? Were Gentiles involved in the wording of verses as relates to the "Promised Land" or "Chosen People"?

I go out to dinner with my bf, we're in our 20's - everytime we go out with friends or when strangers around, it never fails he use these phrases - he swears up and down they are not rude I am just bein uptight! are these phrases considered rude, what is proper way I can tell him to say this w/o sounding too formal... LOL, he's not a slob at all and usually curteous... what is your opinions....

says he went to preach to the "spirits" in prision. Hell is not a prison, for in there is hope of release, and heaven is not prision. The spirits were alive, and were that of the old testament saints like Abraham, Noah etc. So, it logically follows that if God created this place besides heaven and hell, there is also a place scripture points out that you will not be released until the last farthinling (penny) Purgatory exists out of the mercy of God, because without it a person when he dies must be perfect and without any deflement (Rev.) and so then the only place for that person would be hell. But purgatory is a place of purification after one dies!!

This is totally hypothetical, but if you knew an asteroid was going to hit Earth for sure, where do you wish it would hit and why? Let's presume this is not one that'll kill us all, but big enough to destroy a country, or a USA State, or an island (you can evacuate it first if you don't want to be too nasty!).
