Surely we have enough control over ourselves to search for compassion within our own hearts, before we hurt others?

Is it really too difficult to love those who hurt us?

How can I go to hell for sinning if Jesus died for my sins? Would that mean that Jesus died in vain? (Please don't take this as an insult, I'm just curious)

Around 1986 or so, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland began to deviate from their traditional 'health and wealth' teachings, and began to talk about the strangest things......spiritual things that were really 'far out'. It really bothered my spirit. After only a short time of this, they sent out letters to everyone on their mailing list, and asked us all to write and tell them what our opinion was of this new 'revelation' they were teaching about. I wrote them that it was not Scriptural, and that it bothered my spirit. Obviously many others did the same thing, as suddenly they stopped this teaching, and went back to their 'health and wealth' teaching. Do any of YOU remember exactly what they were teaching at that time that was so obviously wrong? Many of us realize their current teachings are out of balance, but I sure wish I could remember what it was back then. Any help???

You ask me why I don't beleive in God, then you give me a bad rating when I give you my answer? I thought Christians were supposed to respect other people's religions, and not force God's will upon people? At least that's what I thought anyway! (My brother's a preacher)

Did you *choose* what you believe? Was it that easy?

Or is it impossible to force yourself to believe something-- either you do or you don't?

To stop and assess your life. To decide if this is the life God would of plan for you. To access what you could do to change things right now that would inprove your situation.

OK so, say God sent his only begotten son down from Heaven to teach people how they are meant to live their lives. Obviously the old testament is kind of outdated by that: yes or no... and all the other dudes in New Testament ~ the one's that wrote about how we should all live.. all that smiting, hatred and condemnation and exclusion just doesn't seem right... so why would I trust a word of what they a have to say?

You know what’s weird I had a cousin I loved him so much we all use to chill together in Mercy Hospital together on Miami volunteering and stuff. We were so cool I mean the best. We had each other’s back. My cousin got sick and was sent to the hospital. I ask my mom what’s going on she lied. All the grown ups lied.

You know what they said "Oh he fell and broke his leg he will be okay". Then I said we wanted to see him. Then my mom kept saying later not today. Then one day we were able to visit I found he's leg amputated I was so horrified and confused.

I think it was more of the confusion; it's like getting shot close range in the face and not realizing it until you hear the trigger go off. Trust me it don’t feel good. I was also naive my mom gave more lies his parents too. He died and I was so shocked and then I got angry. Really angry. He had cancer and no one told the group no one bothered to say hey by the way he has cancer.

When the national ID system is renacted inside the bodies of human beings on the hand or forehead, a leader of indescribable brutality will appear. His all-seeing, all-controlling quest will make the combined depravities of Hitler, Stalin and Genghis Khan - all of whom were types of the Antichrist - look like child's play.

According to many scholars, a prerequisite for his appearing is a national - and finally a global - ID system, beneath which national boundaries will dissolve and economies from around the world will operate.

Without this future ID, nobody will "buy or sell, save he that has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name" according to Revelation 13:17.

"In the wake of the calamitous events of September 11, Rep. Nancy L. Johnson (R., Conn.) suggested a national ID using fingerprints or retinal scans. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) reportedly support[ed] the idea. And in the hallowed halls of Harvard, self-described civil libertarian Alan Dershowitz proposed a "voluntary" card, with a chip that matches the holder's fingerprints

It took me three days to find peace with God. I was surprised, and even frightened when I realized that we can't just say God forgive me and, poof, be forgiven. It don't always work that way folks.I wish it did, but when we repent we have to really mean it.Would you have a testimony that would support this as well?

As a teenager I always imagined dying like so many do in a car wreck.I figured that I would go ahead and have my fun and as I was slipping away I would just asked God to forgive me, and find myself in heaven.I know that there might be that exception, but don't bet your salvation on it.
