Is going to heaven after your physical death your passion and pride?

Why? Why not?

No it is not my passion or pride.
To be prideful is a sin.

It is however my goal.

Because I want to live in the after-life and touch and see the face of god when i depart this earth. I want to feel the glory of his love on a soulful level not on an earthly level.

What a strange question. Hum. My passion and pride. What do you mean? That I am prideful about my behavior because I think it is my ticket into heaven? That I am so passionate about my possibilities of getting into heaven that I forget about compassion for my fellow man? That I make judgments about others because I feel so much more worthy of heaven than them?
Truthfully, whatever, whomever, if God: My gut tells me I am doing okay and that is good enough for me.

It's one of my "hobbies" to discover as much as I can in my free time as to what happens to us after this life. But, I would not say that it's my passion and pride because my family is my passion and pride.

My passion and pride is to live, not to die. Heaven is merely a gift for living a full life. Remember that.

Heaven....never have seen a rational explanation or description of that mythical place. As to what would happen there, the only thing I've read or heard anywhere is you get to sit or be in the "presence."

I'd rather just review my memories and wisdom of my past lives and then return to another physical vehicle to learn more.

Heaven and hell are states of mind rather than real places. You have to live the life you have now because it may be the only one you have.

That being said, there is nothing that says living life now is incompatible with "getting to heaven" if there really is an afterlife.

No. I am not a christian. I plan to relax, study, and rejuvenate in the Summerland until the time of my next bodily incarnation. Then I will redo the cycle until the goddess and the god and I determine that I have learned./accomplished what I was supposed to. Then, my soul mate and I will reside with the divine and help others for eternity.

Don't know that I would call it my passion. My pride? It is most certainly my desire to go to heaven, to enjoy the everafter in the company of angels, yes, definitely.

Pride is a sin so to that I would say no. Passion? Not really. Desire YES! I desire to stand in front of the Father and hear him say those words so sweet " Well done my good and faithful servant."

Its all earthly.
