Quite possibly. In his first season, Josh Gates went to Chile for Destination Truth. The guy whose bus had been hit by what the called the Chupacabra had a hair. when they took the hair back to the US the DNA revealed it's an unknown mammal.
So do I believe in the possibilities? You bet!

The current belief is that it is probably more of an urban legend but if you use the link I provided below you will see the "jury is still out" because they have found some remains that have some pretty questionable DNA.
I would say there may be some pretty mixed up and mutated DNA out there and we may yet see a new breed of something out there.

Of course. Silly question really. When you can go to many southern states and see some for yourself. I don't think anyone has ever captured one and studied one for science but there are pictures and evidence to prove their existance.
Just because YOU haven't seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

yeah they found one in texas close to where i live and they are called mythical cause no one has been able to catch one and disect it..so yeah

i saw this thing online who this woman in texas found one!! well she thinks its one..it looks like a dog/boar thing but its hella big!!
