Al Gore has been here for many years and gave plenty of warnings about many things. Unfortunately, he is unable to communicate as well as Karl Rove (a relative?). While it is true that he got more votes than You-know-Who, when the chips were down, he could not find a good enough lawyer to beat the Evil Five of the Supreme Court.

Messiahs should be made of sterner stuff.

Jesus said that no man would know the day nor the hour of his coming, but that it was soon. That was 2000 years ago. Perhaps heavenly time and earthly time are different. Or the perception is different. (To a child, Christmas coming next week might as well be a year away; for adults it's too soon). There are many warnings in scripture, but not all have come to pass as yet. So, one could say, we have had 2000 years for warning.

You are getting your warnings. You're getting them now. The real question is: Are you listening? Or are you more like: Matt. 24:37-39: “Just as the days of Noah were . . . they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.”

2 Tim. 3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

Ohh, and there's much more that marks the time we are living in as the end times, and there's never been another time that comes close, even though many may doubt.

It's time to choose sides, there's Jehovah God's on one side of the fence, and then there's everyone else on the other, and Satan owns the fence. Free will to go either way, but that means you're responsible for your own life or .....

You are receiving the warning now. Why not read Matthew chapter 24, that's what the deciples asked Jesus.

While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” Matt. 24:3

my favorite take on this question is the Jehovah's witnesses. They got a lock on predicting something that will never happen.
http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrl2.htm

has a great list of the predicted dates from all sorts of groups. But JW has the record on number of failed predictions.
they predicted this event would occur:
1914, 1915, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, 1975 and 1994

how soon is soon well the first fail prediction appears in 30AD so they have had a couple thousand years.

Three and a half days after the antichrist kills the two witnesses. There you have been warned. and you still don't know any more than you did before.

Naw Sweetheart, no warning. He's gonna come like a thief in the night. When you least expect it. So one must be prepared at all times.

He Is trying to warn everybody NOW! Part of Gods will is to work through us to try and spread the good word, and part of the good word is to know that only through him can we be saved. That's what We are talking about when we say believe In God because God is the way, the truth and the life.

The beauty is he isn't comming back as he was never here to begin with. As for a warning, we can use anything that we want. For instance, the hale-bopp coment was the excuse that the Heaven's Gate people used for their mass suicide.
