My answer: AMEN
to Rainbow. Christ was unconquerable and chose to become vulnerable. Allowing ourselves to become vulnerable does not mean that we will be conquered. The very message of the Gospel is that through dying unto ourselves, we find life eternal. Weakness, meekness, vulnerability, being poor in spirit or body or finance, turning the other cheek, etc, are not synonymous with being conquered. Often we are told to make ourselves vulnerable for the benefit of the Kingdom, and through such choices we grow ourselves. Jesus didn't say turn the other cheek as long as you don't think you can stomp the guy that hit you. Even when we are not vulnerable in that situation, we are to choose to make ourselves as such. To a Christian, to die unto ourselves, that He may live in us, is gain. Being a Christian means surrendering (making ourselves vulnerable) so that we can no longer be conquered.

Jesus may or may not have been a real human being. No one has ever found anything he has ever written or anything else to prove he actually existed. There are stories about him but they could be composed of mythology and folktales. And obviously he wasn't impregnable because he was murdered according to the story.

My thoughts are: The proper definition for all you out there. impregnable: Not capable of being captured or entered by force: Unshakable; unyeilding; firm. That is what my God is for me. When I lost my daughter, When I fight a battle that wears me down and I get tired and afraid all I have to do is call on His precious name and my stronghold is there my fortress my EVERYTHING. Jesus Christ the King of Kings That Gave His Life for me

Yes meditation on the crucifixion is awesome. It is interesting not even St. John the disciple that Jesus loved holding Our Blessed Mother in his arms at the foot of the cross understood this mystery the crucifixiion. The suffering the love alll aspects that we can contemplate render this event inscrutable even to us in deep meditation.

Well I think that the story of Jesus is a mix of various stories about a man who may or may not have lived about 2000 years ago.The bible was written many years after the events and without all the infomation exchange we have at our disposal today. So please don't think the bible is all true.

Prove any small bit of the supernatural. People believe in thousands of things on emotions alone.
"Question with boldness even the existence of a god; because if there be one he must approve of the homage of reason more than that of blindfolded fear.

so, you are saying that Jesus, was indeed vulnerable, that he 'proved himself', to be morally unconquerable?
how can one be vulnerable and morally unconquerable?
You know, this type of statement is why I think so many are turning to atheism.
let me ask you something, was the temptation of Jesus a real temptation?
