As an active participant in the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC), I am capable of acquiring a certain award if I complete 40 hours (or more) of community service.

For the past few weeks, I have been diligently working for a particular citizen within my community, who also happens to be a friend of the family. Currently, he is in the process of constructing an addition to his house, for the benefit of his family and father-in-law.

The work that I have completed is strictly voluntary. There is no pay involved. Therefore, my question is: does this qualify as community service?

Its not like they can DO anything. In fact, lets be blunt and honest: The Royal Family's only job is to sit there and look pretty. The fact that they provide drama for the whole country is just a bonus.

Well, I'm not. I don't know her, either, but I just wanted to make it clear. I don't know what this person did or said, but it wasn't me. I just came back from dropping off my little girl and boy at my mom's house, where I played a game of "HORSE" with my brother and his friend in the driveway. My husband was also with me (He sucks at basketball, btw). So if there was any confusion, sorry. And people can also see that my little smiley was lit up the entire time I was gone, since my computer and all were still online as I left it. Allah as my witness I was not here until now. I would have said something the moment it happened had I been.

From what I understand, God created Humans, because He wanted to be worshiped out of Free Will. I understand that Angels do not have Free Will, and they just serve God (like robots, I guess?).

If Angels don't have Free Will, how was Satan and his army free to reject God?

Could it be that Satan serves God? Could it be his duty to weed out unworthy humans?

What are they if you have them and if don't what is it you live for?

I value money about all else, everyone else is just a person who can either help me or is useless, is it wrong to to think like this? I've been thinking like this for some time now and am wondering should I just say screw everyone else and only worry about myself. I don't understand why people make such a big deal out of people being gay. I have two sons. My eldest son who's 13 has a gay friend. He's only 13 too. There isnt anything wrong with being gay. My son is actually bisexual, and i don't have a problem with it. People should be able to love whoever they want. I don't get how these people have problems with this.

Usually when giving reasons for why god does not stop all the murders, rapes and destruction that happens on this planet the answer is usually along the lines of "god has given us the freedom to make these choices" or something to that effect (which i find very funny, you can have a serial killer start praying and be forgiven and let into heaven yet you can have someone who has helped people all of their life but doesent believe in god so they go straight to hell)

But anyway my point is, if god created the earth to let us be free and make our own choices and live our lives etc etc why does he feel the need to drop hurricanes and earthquakes on our a**?? That seems pretty cruel to me? We all have to follow him because he sacrificed his son for us, yet he's sacrificing millions of peoples sons, daughters, monthers, fathers etc etc??

And don't just say he's testing us, it's not much of a test to have a 3 week old baby sleeping while a hurricane is tearing through it's bedroom
