Yes! I thought it was absolutley great!
Promisekeepers is based upon the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is a "Support" group for Christian men. It allows us to help each other in our faith, our walk with Christ, and in keeping our promises to our Lord and our fellow Christians. It allows us to be better husbands to our wives and better fathers to our children. I reccomend it to anyone.

"Biblical?"
I don't think so. I have difficulty imagining Jesus, the Prince of Peace, cheering and shouting at some of the things the Promise Keepers get excited about.
I see groups like this as espousing a US-brand of Christianity, not necessarily the true, Biblical, message of Jesus.
I just don't see the humility of Christ in stadiums of men celebrating being men.
Godspeed.

I know of only one Promise Keeper in my life--my wife's EX-HUSBAND. Now, she is a very spiritual person who believes the only Biblical grounds for a divorce is adultery, and she had plenty of grounbds with this (ahem) Promise Keeper---a man who was arrested when he solicited a prostitute, who ran up nealry 100K in debts paying for all sorts of women, who was like that virtually from the time they married (at least 32 years)...and my wife has known of at least one other just like him, so let's just say, from what I know about them, and who Iknow was one, the one thing they don't very well is Keep PROMISES.

Promise Keepers is a front organization for christian 'dominionists'. Its purpose is to get people involved under false pretenses, to advance the dominionist political agenda.

There's something very unbiblical about a group that promoted homophobia as a virtue.
