what is sin based in the old and new testament??

Without Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Mormons, Catholics etc. Would the world be at total peace? Would the world resemble Hell? What's your opinion?

I don't really know why so many people care about Michael Vick's legal troubles.
I don't think that it's because White Americans are jealous/racist, & want to bring down a rich & famous black athlete. Because I remember the Kobe Bryant rape case, (it didn't go to trial) he was accussed of raping a 20 year old White girl. If White people & the media are so racist against black people, then why don't more Whites hate Kobe Bryant? It's becuase he probably didn't do it that's why. Also I remember the Duke Lacrosse fake rape case, when everyone tryed to put 3 innocent White men in prison for a gang-rape that never happened.

I love my fiance. She is a very religious woman and I am not religious. I dont know if I believe in God or not. I have more questions than answers and that is one area of our relationship where we are quite different.

To the people out there who have a mate from a different religious background, can I have some advise?

Is it possible for a relationship like ours to survive? Sometimes I have my doubts. But I would like to believe that love can conquer all, even a differing opinion of God.

I recently bumped into my ex-girlfriend's brother. The meeting got me thinking about my ex. We had fallen in love some years back - she was my first love and we were pretty into each other. Powerful feelings. I was incredibly selfish and self-centered, however, and did many hurtful things.

I am happily married now to someone else, but I've been thinking of contacting my ex-girlfriend simply to apologize to her. I don't know if this is the right thing to do, especially since I don't plan on telling my wife if I do decide to go ahead and apologize to my ex. My wife simply wouldn't understand. Can't blame her though, since I wouldn't want her reaching out to her ex-boyfriends.

So, what should I do? I feel it is important to seek forgiveness from my ex, but is it fair to my wife?

I don't know whether to feel pleased that Christians contradict themselves all the time and are thusly exposed for being misguided and confused, or to feel afraid, very VERY afraid that these same people are running our country (into the ground). Does anybody have some encouraging words for me?

do you think when the pharasess said that jesus did his work through the devil and then jesus said all matters of sin will be forgiven exept a sin against the Holy spirit

I don't get it why theist don't blame their god for Hitler's action. Wasn't god responsible for giving Hitler freewill? If there was something wrong(really really wrong) with Hitler, shouldn't god re-checked his "omniscient radar" first to make sure to create someone worth creating?

Micheal Vick said he found Jesus after getting caught killing dogs. But I wonder, where was he hiding? And why didn't He step up when Mr. Vick was starting a dog fighting business? Or when he was killing dogs? Are we not stewards of the earth? He clearly knew something about Jesus before he chose to kill dogs, what he just missed that part of His message.

Ok, less sarcasm. Why dont people find Jesus before they get caught doing bad things?

I am wanting to purchase a Portuguese (Brazilian) parallel Bible as a gift for my fiance. But I am having a very hard time finding one anywhere. Any ideas??? I have asked at the local book stores (large chains ie, Barnes and Noble) and at the Christian stores with no luck.
BTW--a parallel Bible is one written with 2 languages in it.
