I think in a hundred or so years religion as we know it now will cease to exist. I think it will be taught in school right along side of greek mythology, There will be Christian mythology Buddist mythology etc...I think as we use science to become more aware of our surrounding in this wolrd, we will no longer have any use for gods. I think people will look back and snicker at the fact that so many believed in a higher power for so long. Does anyone else agree?

Here's a question I've wondered about for some time, and haven't really found a satisfactory answer to: What exactly is the difference between "ethics" and "morals"? As in " this politician demonstrates good ethical and moral principles in his decision-making" It seems to me that these two terms are often used in conjunction with each other, but no one seems to make a distinction between them. Is it possible to be immoral but still act ethically? How 'bout the other way around?

There is a record of one entity, Satan, not content with existence in Heaven. This suggests that no matter how awesome heaven is, it hasn't pleased all its residents.

Since it is impossible to know what Heaven is like, shouldn't we acknowledge the possibility that existence in Heaven could disappoint?

Can Satan be content *AND* jealous? Can Satan be content *and* want to unseat God? Is jealousy possible if one is 100% content? No; this is impossible if you understand the definitions of both words. If Satan wanted to be God, then he was not in a "a state of satisfaction".

Satan was not content in Heaven; being disappointment in Heaven is possible. Does Satan's discontentment suggest a (minuscule) possibility that one, after existing in Heaven for a while, could be disappointed with Heaven?

What guarantees 100% that Heaven will be perfect if at least one resident was not content?

Many christians here believe in a Hell of fire where people will burn for eternety, these so called christian religions threat nonbelievers of eternal damnation in hell.

The problem is that the threat of a hell of fire where people suffer forever is not a teaching found in the Scriptures.

The bible states that God will destroy the wicked with eternal destruction. In other words, evil will be wiped out from existence. The lake of fire symbolizes eternal destruction.

Some so called christians also believe that right when a person dies, his/her spirit goes directly to heaven or hell.

Yet the bible teaches that the dead are sleep. They have no memory or anything, they are not conscious, therefore can't feel any pain. This is also more scientific.

Many teachings most so called christians teach are false, and I think keeps people away from the bible.

The bible talks about Satan using people to distort the bible truth. (Acts 20:29, 30)

A few weeks ago 23 South Koreans were in Afghanistan to render aid, medical, social and relief to the Afghanistanis and the Taliban kidnapped them, killed at least two and for no reason. Does the media not cover this because they are Christians?

What I think is that there is not anyone who has wrongly tormented someone or taught someone something that could make them fail in life and there are people who think that they could handle being punished for this.

I think that it is easier to ask Jesus for forgiveness.
