if you believe in Satan, you have to believe in God. Why would some people choose to worship someone who is evil and grotesque instead of someone that is loving and kind?

To worship Satan is to practice Satanism as inverted Christianity; the symbol of this kind of "Satanism" is the inverted cross, all of its rituals are those of Christianity perverted, The Lord's Prayer recited backwards, etc.

Satanists who have a greater agenda than rejecting their Christian upbringing practice Satanism as a way of life using Satan as a role model; that is to say, they consider their self as their focus, they seek to exalt themselves, to revel in earthly sensation, gratification, sexuality, etc. They reject the principle of subservience to God as Satan himself did. Why they choose to call this belief "Satanism" rather than "egoism" is another question.

Satanists do not worship the Christian idea of Satan. They have a disbelief in Christianity. They more or less believe in looking out for oneself, with certain rules that encourage respect for others at the same time. Its not anything to do with Christian ideas, nor is the malicious type of religion its made out to be. I will clarify, I am talking about Satanists who actually follow the Church of Satan's teachings, not goofballs who make stuff up to be weird and call themselves "Satanists".

No one does. No one. All historical times when people have been accused of being satanic it actualy turned out they were Wiccan or Pagan. Satanism was created in the crazy minds of Christians. Sorry to break that to you.

I think you've really got to be possessed to worship satan. They're the decided minority. Most people bow to him without realizing just by denying God.

Excellent question, bold warrior. Only in the smallest way would I alter it: Why would someone worship Satan or God? Neither one exists.

To rebel. That's what gave Satanism most of it's momentum was that it's considered Taboo and those who want to be "different" join just to give their parents and the rest of society a scare.

If thats incredibly the case: in case you comprehend that God is the Almighty and the fact and you consciously deny Him and worship devil....properly then thats blasphemy...it is an unforgivable sin.
