Atheists & agnostics don't believe in God, therefore God can't bless them with moral values. What do you think?

Why are Jesus and Horus so similar? I just ran into the chart at http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_jcpa5.htm. It confuses me, any explanations?

OK OK fine I'm an atheist but pretend I wasn't. Still explain it so I can understand why it isn't a big deal/true, others can know why, and you can know why.

Does anyone know where unbiased translations of the Qur'an may exist?

He loves all of you and I truly believe that everyone who writes hateful responses or questions, are not bad people, just misguided about their actions. PLEASE people, get saved and accept Jesus before you pass away and cannot do it, or before He returns. He is giving tons of warnings out of love, to make a place for you. Don't blow it by believing the rest of the worldly lies that He does not exist. HE DOES! you were made in His image so you should know in your hearts. you need no other proof,that is a lie told to you. I mean all of this out of love, so please do not get angry at me. This is not harassment nor arrogance. This is caring enough to take risks and obeying him as well. Please save your lives, PLEASE. it is not funny, but most serious. At my high school in .., for instance, a very small minority of students attend four-year universities after graduation. Greeks believed earthquakes were caused by Titans trying to break out of the underground prison created for them by Zeus. People don't believe that.

Polynesians believed rainwater was the tears of the god of the heavens, heartbroken at being separated from his beloved, the goddess of the earth. People don't believe that.

So why do people believe in Moses turning sticks into snakes, or a virgin giving birth to a demigod who could raise the dead, or Muhammad flying from Mecca to Jerusalem mounted on a flying horse?

will often say things such as "earthly relationships are nothing compared to what we will have in heaven" and "as long as you put God first in your marriage it will all work out" I just find it creepy because I don't want to love anybody more than I love my family. I cannot imagine wanting to please a God more than to please my children and my husband, I love them so much I would rather have an 'earthly' relationship with them and put them first for my entire life. If you ARE religious could you explain to me if this is all literal? If you had to choose between God and your children who would you put first?

Think of it this way:

Believers -- you know you're not going to convince non-believers by being self-righteous, attacking, condemning, etc.

Non-Believers - we already know that you think we're idiotic, illogical, crazy, "fundies," etc.

So why don't we just move on from that polarizing, and try to learn from each other?

For example, believers could try to understand HOW atheists came to be where they're at spiritually, and atheists could learn more about the concrete experiences believers have had from God.....it could be a real exchange....

I'm not trying to be all ghandi-esque or like "Why can't we all just get along?!" I'm just saying, we've already traded all the insults we can trade, and each side knows how the other responds by now, so why can't we take a different approach? It would be so much cooler in here if we could....

You're preaching in the middle of a college campus and you suddenly notice people running towards a crowd forming a ring nearby. As you approach you hear shouts and cheers and you see two people dueling, using the art of Kendo. (For those unfamiliar, this is the Japanese martial art of fencing, using bamboo swords)

The two opponents are battling it out just in their normal clothes and in the middle is a guy holding two different colored flags. The crowd is cheering as the two fight with skill and precision. The two fighters seem to be ignoring the crowd and just focused on their duel.

Our sperm and egg pass along something called chromosomes which carry the genetic traits from our fathers and mothers to make babies. Before the fetus has developed the brain does he believe in God? Yeah it sounds stupid right.... thats the point. Religion is not inscribed in our DNA.

How can people be so arrogant? I have a family member who is an atheist and this hurts me because I know that the only way to go to Heaven is to be a Christian. You have to accept Jesus into your life. This really hurts me because I don't want him to go to Hell, but he will unless he changes his ways.

What should I do? He is so close-minded. It is just so frustrating to be around him.

I know that Jesus has tried to touch his heart, yet he refuses. Has anyone else gone through this experience? It's absolutely horrible.

I pray that he sees the truth. I don't want anything bad to happen to him or anyone else.

I use to love Mike Vick until this dog fighting thing came about, Anyone who could be that repeatedly cruel to anything living that is cruel. And you know certain things can make you automatically loose any type of good feeling you have towards some1. I had a boyfriend 34 at the time his son was 16 he and his son didnt get along. And his son like to come by my house oneday and when i told him he called his son a RAT!! My whole out look of him changed in 1 mili sec we didnt last long after that. So do you agree that 1 thing a person does can have you change how you feel about a person I dont care if it was my daddy if he did what Vick did to those dogs I would def. look at him diff.. Or if he told me his son was a rat

Do you think it will ever end?

Im curious because just last night my friend did not want to walk into a McDonalds late at night because black people were outside. Now it pissed me off because she didnt even give me a reason to why she didnt want to go inside even though I knew what the answer was.

We've all had those moments where we go to a chinese resturaunt and were expecting to see an asian waiter or waitress or we are walking down the street and we see people with color walking in our direction.

Im just curious if anyone other then me thinks racisim will never end?

I cannot abide these awful little cafe's that insist on serving one tea out of those awful mugs that seem to be everywhere these days. The tea is sloshed with milk and turns out to look like dishwater. I always insist my man-servant tests the temperature of the water before filling the Tea Pot. I insist on China tea cups..and even on my adventures in deepest, darkest Africa I always took my best China cups and my Lapsong Souchon tea with me..those bloody servants just can't seem to get it right. Who agrees wih me. Your affectionate Uncle, Artemus Fangora Fogg. (Look forward to my further adventures, I shall keep you well informed).
