Our sperm and egg pass along something called chromosomes which carry the genetic traits from our fathers and mothers to make babies. Before the fetus has developed the brain does he believe in God? Yeah it sounds stupid right.... thats the point. Religion is not inscribed in our DNA.

Bingo. Religion has to be taught. And you generally need a brain to comprehend both religion and any kind of god.
I say "generally" because I haven't figured out Dubya yet.

I fully agree with you. Nobody is born believing in any kind of god, nobody is born as a racist, and I personally believe that nobody is born gay.
All the above are life choices that we make according to our intelligence and our frame of reference.
