Do you think it will ever end?

Im curious because just last night my friend did not want to walk into a McDonalds late at night because black people were outside. Now it pissed me off because she didnt even give me a reason to why she didnt want to go inside even though I knew what the answer was.

We've all had those moments where we go to a chinese resturaunt and were expecting to see an asian waiter or waitress or we are walking down the street and we see people with color walking in our direction.

Im just curious if anyone other then me thinks racisim will never end?

I don't know if this is really an answer to your question but It's like that old saying :

"if you look to find the worst in a man then you will surely find it."

The same holds true that If you look for racism than you will surely find it.

I had a close friend who happened to be from south America and although he was 35, smart, and extremely well educated, he looked really young. Every time someone would ask for his I.D. like at a casino or a bar he would go into a rage, get all bent out of shape and really let it get the best of him because he thought they were only asking for his I.D. because he's Hispanic when in fact that couldn't be further from the truth. I mean the guy shopped for his suits in the boys department but he was not at all sensitive about his height or anything. Actually even though he was slightly shorter than average he had a really hot body.

Once a person is the victim of racism or discrimination they are bound to find it if they are constantly looking for it.

It probably will never end as long as we're able to notice differences. When people see differences based on appearance, they will always separate them and create stereotypes.

It seems to be a natural thing and we'll have a lot of brainwashing to do to get rid of racism. We're still working on an effective way of doing so too and it's not going that great at the moment.

No, it will never end because racism is an idea. It's a bad idea but it is an idea, and that means it is immortal. Honestly, what we deal with now is more bigotry and xenophobia. Your friend was xenophobic; they don't know black people and therefore they are afraid of them. They didn't say they were a superior racial stock, which is at the core of racism.

The question should be: do people want racism to end?
I personally think that it CAN end, but that will take the combined efforts of the whole world to change the way we think and feel about other races.
However, if we continue on the path that we're on now, I don't think it will.
So pretty much, I think it will end if people want it to end.

Because some people automatically think something will happen to them if they see a group or even a couple of black guys around, and they don't realize this is real life, not the movies, and they are racist. Will it ever end? when hell freezes over.

hollywood has given black people a reputation that they are all dangerous which is bull. I would like to think that racisim will end, but that would happen only if hollywood stops which is not likely

Yes, eventually all races will be one due to the growing inter-racial relationships around the world. There will be a time where no one is a pure 1 ethnicity, its just a matter of time. I can't wait, it has to stop.

Racism, homophobiaism and anything to that extent will never end. As people grow old and their parents instill their values into their kids and so on, it is just going to be aa continual roller coaster

Hey Booger, did ya ever think that its not just blacks? Its all races. everyone against everyone. No it will will never end. Its sad to think and sad to say. History repeats itself. Thankfully, not everyone is like that.
