"But if your answer is yes please...write a goddamn book."
No, thanks.
To paraphrase George W. Bush, "God sounds like a great idea, as long as I get to be God."

I can't really say "if I was God" because God is perfect. I am not. Nor would I want his job because it would be a tough task. But as the tally goes (I have to give a short answer for now...I need some sleep...)
Every human that has ever lived chooses whether or not they go to Heaven or Hell because God gave us free will.
It's not like it is "choose me" or go to Hell. More or less "Hell" is a consequence of sin. If you are more than a little currious (study christianity and all other religions for yourself---don't just believe what someone else tells you...this is not a contradiction)
The Christian "Hell' is actually the grave...more or less where we go when we die. Many people get that mixed up with the eternal punishment (not a decree for "evil" people and angels to "burn forever"--God loves us all and would not allow even the punishment to go on forever--but it is Final punishment because he will not resurect the evil to eternal life...more or less when they burn up and are ash, they will never come back.)
The punishment is for all to burn for the amount of sins they have and not more.
There will not be an "eternal place of burning" this "strange act" is God cleaning sin from the Universe once and for all.
It is the perfect character of God that has come into question in the universe.
Lucifer, who was a created being in Heaven by God. he was perfect once and without sin. Because Lucifer, became vain and liked himself so much (he was the highest created angel) Lucifer felt that he had a right to be included with God or be god. Lucifer, (the exact amount of time in not know) but over the years Lucifer went and asked the angels in Heaven why did everyone have to follow so many rules? Why were these rules here? If one did not follow them, what harm could come? As the story goes he convinced one third of the angels to form their own goverment and said that they could run the universe better than all of "God's rules."
There was no place in Heaven left for Lucifer and his followers and he was cast to our Earth. Then the whole Adam and Eve thing happend and suffering came into our world. More or less this world is what would happen to the universe if Lucifer ran it and we did not obey God's rules. All of the suffering and destrucion. God is perfect and cannot lie but Lucifer could. So this is not all about "chosing to follow Jesus or burning in "hell" or as I said a final punishment.)
This is more about believing that God's ways are just and that trusing in God to save us from ourselves and once God's character is justified and all chose a side, whether it is believing that God's character has and will always be just or beliving that we don't have to follow all those rules. And it is not really "rules" as it is the perfect character of God. They are "perfect rules" because God is perfect and that he has always been right. He will not force this decision on us. We have to choose it ourselves. So it is not "Believe in me or else!" It is choosing to have faith in God that God will save us and make things perfect again....sorry...I need to go to sleep right now...I'm really tired but there is so much more that could be said about this...you will have to search for yourself though if you will find what you are looking for...do not let anyone decieve you...

The prevailing thought in the world today is that a good God would not send anyone to Hell to burn forever and ever in an unquenchable fire, where the worm never dies and the darkness is not enlightened by the fire, and the suffering and misery never end. The question is: how could God do this? If we were God, we wouldn't do that. And just like that we condemn God. It seems reasonable to think like this.
The Lake of Fire was created for Satan and his angels. In the beginning Lucifer and the angels that eventually followed him, were created perfect. They loved and served God until that moment when Lucifer's pride carried him away and he rebelled, and a third of the angels followed him in that rebellion. At that time the Lake of Fire was created for them. It was not created for humans. After the earth was created and man, Satan came to tempt man to rebel against God and join him. Evil, though it starts as a very small and tiny thing, grows steadily until it becomes a hideous, dark, wicked, malignant monster. Jesus Christ is God's sacrifice and those who realize their doom and call out to Jesus are saved. Jesus payed a very great price to save us from the Lake of Fire. A very great price. If there was no hell, then Jesus would not have had to pay such a price. It is astonishing the love God has for us worthless sinners. It is not his will that anyone goes to Hell. He has given us freedom to choose. God says, choose life. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Jesus payed such an enormous price for our freedom. That is why He is the only door to heaven. His name is the only one that can save. Jesus is the savior. Hell is a choice. God says choose life, but he does not force you to choose life. The choice is yours. Evil hates the light and anything to do with God. The Lake of Fire is the second death. In hell there will be no light and no God, and the evil heart will be grossly evil, malicious and foul. God is not willing that anyone suffer like this. He demonstrated that by sending His Son to save the world. He pleads with mankind to choose life. Jesus' suffering is loud testimony to the reality of hell. If there were no hell, then Jesus would not have had to suffer.

I am not Almighty God.
And can never be that righteous, holy, pure.
But in this hypothetical La-La Land premise... If I were to suddenly become Almighty God, I would do EXACTLY as Almighty God has done. He loves and wants none to perish in eternity in The Lake Of Fire for their sins, so He gave His Only Perfect, Innocent, Sinless Son to die a horrendous death on Calvary for all of mankind's sins. Those who FREELY & WILLINGLY loved His Son for his sacrifice & invite His Son into their heart and life as their one and only personal Lord and Savior would spend eternity in Heaven. Those who rejected, dismissed, ignored, or refused His Son's selfless sacrifice and refused to invite Him into their heart and life as their one and only personal Savior and Lord I would honor their request and allow them to CHOOSE to spend eternity in The Lake Of Fire.
As the Bible speaks in detail of what Hell (the solitary waiting cell) before final judgment (The Great White Throne Judgment) and sentencing for eternity in The Lake Of Fire and what The Lake Of Fire is and will be for those who reject Jesus Christ, I can not think of anything more detailed and graphic to outdo or compare to it.
This may not be the answer some want to hear.
This may not be the answer that some will accept.
This may not be the politically and/or socially correct answer.
But it is THE ABSOLUTE UNADULTERATED truth.
And nothing and no one can or will change or alter this truth.

First of all the obvious - No one but God is or ever will be God.
Second - God grants eternal life to those that love Him. Some people cannot handle that. Hell will be their home.
Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

The bible states that anyone whose name was not found in "the book" was thrown into the "lake of fire" referred to, also called "the second death", so it looks to me like if you aren't a Christian you are resurrected with everyone else then die again and that's it.
Anyway, I wouldn't wish hell upon anyone.

My answer is as follows: '... have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord, and not rather that he should turn from his evil way and return [to his God] and live? [Ezekiel 18:23]
AND '... the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance [2 Peter 3:9].

If people do not want to follow God's commands, that is there choice... but this universe rightfully belongs to the one who formed it, and any who do not wish to obey God's will of love and kindness will not be allowed to continue to spread their evil and dissent...

If you were God what would you do? Think about God's motivations. His entire purpose in creating this earth was to dwell with His children and yet sin separates us. So this is the time to choose His will over your own...should murderers, rapists, idoloters, theives, liars and generally selfish people who don't care about others enter into the New Earth. No, they should be destroyed along with everything else that is evil, wicked, self-seeking, power hungry, vain, decietful and cruel. That's always been what God has been combatting. If you go through the Bible and you read accounts where people were massacred by God's command..you have to understand that these were people that had no regard for life, even thier own peoples. These were people that would sell their own children for temple prostitution and offer up their infant children to pagan idols and murder and rape and commit acts of sodomy. You heard of Greek vomitoriums...well, the greeks would sit around eating to the point they had to throw up...go and purge, having slaves to clean up after them, and then return to the feast table..meanwhile thier own people were often starving. That is where ignorance of ancient history is lacking in schools...to find out what worlds, nations, tribes and peoples would not just do to each other but to themselves. So yeah, I believe God would like to end all that for now and forever. So, He could...zap us all out of existance..except that also throughout history were peeps that while they were not perfect by any standards God was able to see that these people make different choices and followed the ways of God and its these people that He gathered to Himself. The rest, yeah, they will be destroyed..not burn in Hell for eternity, that is a pagan myth that has carried over into church tradition...the Bible repeatedly calls the consequences of our actions "death"..we do not each of us have our own individual little spirits...we are individual souls (beings) but we are alive by the Spirit of God. Read Revelations.
Revelation 20:14
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
Even death and "hell" will be throw into the lake of fire? How can "hell" be thrown into itself? Simple...the "hell" as we have defined has not been the same as the bible defines. Hell is the mistranslation of the word "sheol' which means grave or more literally "to be covered over" or forgotten. So death and the grave will be cast into the lake of burning fire to be destroyed along with everything else...because Jesus has died to make all things new. He did it for those of us that are trying to follow after Him. "Hell" consists of nothing...no thought, no animation, no life...when you're dead...you're dead. Wouldn't you rather choose life? ~J~

This would be blasphemy to even consider this. Why do you direct your question directly to Christians, why not Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists or Sikhs? Just wondering.
