I wonder how else I could have contributed to humanity. Was this the right path for me? Did I do the right thing? Or did I goof off too much time away? Should I have built housing for homeless people instead? Or have I helped you people?

I am..especially here in Texas..I mean, when people are animals and dont know how to act like humans, I feel like the death penalty is the only solution. Inmate Johnny Conner is going to be executed tomorrow, here is a little description of what he did "On 05/17/98, during the nighttime in Houston, Texas, Conner robbed a store at gunpoint. A male customer entered the store and heard the suspect say, "Give me the money." The male customer came upon Conner and Conner fired one shot from a 32-caliber pistol, striking the adult male victim in the chest and arm. The customer then fled the scene on foot. Conner turned and fired 2 shots striking the adult female clerk in the head, causing her death. Conner fled the scene without any money." Like I said, certain animals dont deserve to live in civilized society.

I believe that unless people become members of the family of God, praying to God is a waste of time. God will not answer prayer if we stand outside of His eternal family of Christian believers.

Moreover, we should end all our prayers by saying "in the name of Jesus." Of course, this only applies to Christians (members of the family of God).

I cannot comprehend why people who are not saved expect God to answer their prayers.

Otherwise, I see no difference between a Christain and a nonChristian asking God for help in prayer.

I not talking about repentance. I am talking about praying for wealth, cure for illnesses, etc.

Why would anyone expect God to answer prayers if repentance has not taken place in the life of that person?

Months ago me and my guy returned home to Thailand to have a traditional wedding. Back then it was not a big issue but he has brung it up again. I think its not important at all and he gets really upset for the fact that i do not think its an issue at all. Altho he wants me to take his last name because he says mine is too long (21 letters altho i shortened it by 6) and I like my last name and besides my 2 son's have my last name , After have learned to write it in thai, lao, khmer and english over the years i think its odd id make them change .

Through out HIStory(even nowadays) us men have done so many great things, we created laws, built civilizations, fight wars to protect our countries, and invented many great things. I mean, it is IMPOSSIBLE to list all the great things that men have done.

I have been practicing Wicca for a few years, but usually its just a simple ritual, and if its not, i do it at my grandmas house (im thirteen) because she is not opposed to it. Some of my friends are interested in the Craft, so we need to do more spells. Weve been doing it in a woods behing a park. But, because of candles, we cant do complex spells for fear of lighting the whole woods on fire. I made special fire plates in case a candle falls over, but there are still ways it could be dangerous. Is there a way to do (complex) magic without candles? And is there a way of practicing magic with candles without the danger? and please, no negative remarks, I will report you.

why is it that atheists are so put down all the time? is it wrong to know your history? i know what all of you religious people are going to say, 'you don't know your history, we do! jesus died for our sins! it says so in the BIBLE!!....' but the thing is, we as atheists look for living proof of history, religious people just look to the bible. why won't any religious people give us a chance? we research and devote our time to looking at what's REAL, and we just get bashed for that saying we have no 'faith'? and recently i looked at a website (i forget the name), but there was a poll of who would you most likely vote president, and blacks, gays, women, and even mentally disabled people came before atheists! how wrong is this? just because we're atheist doesn't mean we're more, or less, of a person than religious people are! so please stop bashing us like we don't know anything when, 7 times out 10, we do more research than most religious people do.

Everything I say is meant to be as open-minded as possible:

I have a deep history of general New Age spiritualism, so I come from a similar background of most truth seekers.
But the way I see it, what makes Christianity stand out is the facts behind the main man of the faith: Jesus Christ.
He made the bold claim that he was the Son of God Himself in a land where that claim was of the highest blasphemy. But the amazing part is that he proves it: Miraculous conception, fulfils many specific prophesies, performs tons of healings and other miricals, shows pure sinlessness, speaks many truths, and in the end rises from the dead. All this with more documentation than many past wars.

So I want to make sure, do I have my religion right this time?

I am stealing this title from a question earlier. And I am even co-opting his question a bit but turning it around.

If you were hanging from a rope above a fiery pit and about to fall. Jesus stretched out his hand and said take my hand and I will save you. Accept my salvation and you will be forgiven and saved. Would you say no and fall? Or would you take his hand and be saved?

This is what Christ is doing now. He is saying take my hand and accept me. I will save you.

Also I would prefer to avoid responses like Jesus does not exist and thus I cannot take his hand.
