Sylvia Browne sums it up best, she is on Montel Williams tomorrow, she says our "Spirit Guides" are people from the other side that are assigned to each of us to help us make the right decisions. Our "Guardian Spirits" is like a relative or loved one we once knew and is looking out for us.

The difference is indeed in their names which describe their functions. You must know by now that there are only two kinds of Spirits - the Holy Spirit and those evil powers under Satan. Mess about with those and they will come and live inside you - and eventually run your life for you.

the language is similar to that which are known as "guardian angels" ...
guardian angels are helpers:

they are protectors ...
