...wear a T-shirt that says "Friends are forever, boys are whatever"?

I've seen that shirt a lot, and I don't like it, primarily because when I was a girl, my best friend was a boy. (We're still close.) Plus I don't think a girl has to put down boys in order to say she has her priorities straight.

The English language has been the language used since the beginning of our Country. In my state we have a growing population that speak Spanish and are unable to understand or speak English. I feel it would be to their benefit to prosper if they learned English. Question: Should English be our national language?

We´re told to believe in a superior being and in imaginary places to transcend this life.
We´re told to think positive and things "will happen".
We´re told that walking under a ladder, seeing a black cat and breaking a mirror is "bad luck".
We´re told that ships can be "jinxed".
We´re told that speaking of evil brings the "evil eye".
We´re told that astrology governs our lives.

Are we so turned outside-in that we perceive more of a hidden world in fear than wonder at nature and feel elated?
Can we take things as they come instead of creating imaginary disasters?

it was like i just sat up in bed. i immediately felt pain and i reached for my leg. i turned on my light and the was this cut about 1/8 inch wide and an inch long it was perfectly straight. it looked like the skin was peeled back. it wasnt my toenail or a cat. i was under the blankets so it couldnt have been a table or anything.
what could it have been?

I find it so utterly unbelievable. The whole story is so unlogical. Beasts coming out of the ocean, stars falling out of the sky. I've read it several times and each time I've thought it was just drug induced hysteria. What is it that makes it so believeable to you?

Do you think maybe the intensity of an ETERNITY (keep in mind how long that is) worth of pure, intense emotion and thoughts, can somehow effect us now in this reality?

this is difficult to explain but bare with me.

The amount of emotion/feeling of an eternity is paramount to what we feel now because that's ALOT of emotion combined, and i just think that amount of intense feeling just somehow... echoes.

For instance, you feel upset about a personal thing, and an eternity later (could be millions/billions/trillions....etc) years later you remember that very moment you felt that way, however you don't just think back once or twice... the life we have here is hardly a glimpse compared to eternity... so you'd constantly remember your life.

Now take that very moment you felt upset and multiply it an infinite amount of times, do you think it's possible you'd actually feel that same intensity given the fact it was the catalyst of an eternal chain of the same feeling at that moment?

How do you feel god's love? I dunno, I grew up believing in god but never had a relationship with him.. At 12, I went to church with a friend and got saved, then at 13 I walked away from god and church altogether and went through a lot in my life. I got into drugs, cutting, I guess everything negative you can think of steming from some bad stuff when I was younger. I want to have a relationship with god.. maybe part of me feels like I'm not worthy of it.. I don't really know. Sometimes I guess I feel kinda betrayed by god.. I just need help. I need a reason to live. I need to learn how to love and feel love. This is like the dumbest place to ask personal questions but I need a place where I can find christians, and i don't think im ready to walk into a church again.

I guess when somebody is far away it does not matter, but when they are 2 feet away, I can't help but to look at their mouth when their speaking. I feel that by looking at their mouth I can undertandt them clearer by lip reading I guess. So, do you AS THE SPEAKER ever notice that? Have you ever said: why is that person staring at my mouth instead of my eys?

Go ahead, say what you want. I really don't care, but I've had enough of all the R&S people (If you are such good religious and spiritual people, you wouldn't be doing stupid things like bombarding the NASCAR section just to be kicked out, now would you?)

If you don't know what I'm talking about, go ahead and see for yourself. Go look at the nascar section and see all the religious questions asked by supposed R&S contributors.

SInce astro physisists in the UK claim that life is
1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 less likely to occur on earth than on a slushy comet why wouln't they seriously consider the possibilty God created life on earth instead of resorting to life being made on a giant slushy and crashing on earth?
