...wear a T-shirt that says "Friends are forever, boys are whatever"?

I've seen that shirt a lot, and I don't like it, primarily because when I was a girl, my best friend was a boy. (We're still close.) Plus I don't think a girl has to put down boys in order to say she has her priorities straight.

What about y'all?

That's true, it's not empowering for a girl to act like a total snot and that boys keep them from doing what they have to do in order to succeed in life. You don't see guys saying or doing that about girls do you? Guys do what they have to do, girlfriend or not, that's what girls need to learn. Instead of pining for their man when he's away, why not make themselves useful and better their own lives in other ways?

No, I don't like to see things like that. And I don't like seeing kids wearing shirts that show their belly and low rider jeans, either.

It sounds like a stupid shirt, but young girls tend to wear dumb shirts like that.
