Why would you think blacks have food preferences different from your own?

Oh, wow. Would you have asked this if your neighbors were white?
Do have your husband cook whatever he enjoys. Make sure you go with him and break bread with your neighbors too. You are LONG overdue for some exposure to diversity.
EDIT: I always answer first and then read other's responses. Another response made me check your profile. If the neighbors were waiting for you to bring food, they would have starved to death by now. You asked this same question six days ago. It is now in voting. I voted for the one who suggested you move your double wide.
Why don't you try asking or answering the questions on this forum to learn or contribute something meaningful to the world beside your ignorance? It is an excellent opportunity to do so.

Soup is always nice, or a casserole like lasagna is a good bet for any occasion. Try to focus on the "new neighbors" part, and ignore the "black" part. No matter their skin color, remember they are people, JUST LIKE YOU.

At least you have a resonable husband, you might be one of those rare women who should in all casses defer to the husband. I recomend you ask your husband what to make.

not every black person likes to eat the same thing so don't make them mad by fixing fried chicken or collard greens......you can just ask the neighbors what they like to eat and fix it for them

Well black people will eat any kind of food ( I know because I'm black and i eat different kinds of food , its more interesting ).Just make sure you have chicken there lol.
