Dita, the meaning of "anti" in the Greek does not mean "opposite" but rather it means "false" or "another".

The one spoken of as the "Anti-christ" in the Bible is a deceiver who tries to replace Christ and exhalt himself as an annointed or messianic figure. Ultimately, he exhalts himself above God, even.

It would throw everyone off if the Anti-christ was a woman, because she has been referred to as a man in the Bible, called the "son of perdition", the "man of sin" and the "man of lawlessness".

Unless the Greek used there is in the gender neutral form for "person of sin, person of perdition and person of lawlessness" then we would have a problem.

You are missing the point.
The Jewish nation for the most part does not believe that Jesus Christ was/is their Messiah prophesied of in the Old Testament. The Jewish Nation is STILL waiting for their Messiah to arrive. Satan knows this.
That is why the Anti-Christ NEEDS to be and will "superficially" seem to be like Jesus. The Anti-Christ/Satan want to completely destroy Israel, whom Satan hates because Israel is the "apple of God's eye".

The Anti-Christ is a Jew, from the Hebrew tribe of Dan. He was born in the Middle East. He will be unmarried and will remain single. He will be homosexual. The False Prophet, is male, and through him The Anti-Christ will control The Holy Roman Church and Islamics leaders (the two main remaining religious organizations left on earth after The Rapture) and the False Prophet will be The Anti-Christ's male homosexual lover.

No person who has read The Torah & The Holy Bible and knows the prophesies in the Old/New Testament would EVER believe that the Anti-Christ could be a woman. Especially Israel. And that is whom Anti-Christ wants to deceive & destroy the most.

No need, all the atheists and followers of the false religions will never have heard about the AntiChrist and will willingly follow him first as a peace-bringing statesman and later as the messiah.

It is possible that apparitions of female appearance (False Angels or a fake Virgin Mary perhaps) might manifest and confirm that the anti christ is the true messiah - that would probably convince the Roman Catholics and New Agers, and the anti Christ's supernatural powers will probably convince the Atheists.

It does make a lot of since. It's supposed to be anti, so it should be female. Christ was a guy, and so the Anti-Christ should be a girl.

In the modern world, it's still hard for females to gain a position of political power, sadly. So I really doubt it.

Perhaps you are the Anti-Christ and are trying to throw us off your trail?

CJ you wouldn't know a true christian if one bit you on the ankle. You seem to hate catholics, hate liberals, not like women much...well at least ones that stand up for themselves, and you judge people all the time as "not true" christians.
Do you realize that is the impression you are giving? I thought you thought you were a true christian? You are a very bad example of one. If I ever thought about not being atheist and becoming christian, you would be the last person i would talk to about it. You also confirm it for me often that it is a wrong choice.

To answer the query-yes, it would be unexpected...and i hope not because i'm tired of prejudiced people anyway, that would just fuel the fire.
**If I believed any of it** :) :) :)
