con*tent:
adjective - in a state of peaceful happiness
noun - a state of satisfaction
There is a record of one entity, Satan, not content with existence in Heaven. This suggests that no matter how awesome heaven is, it hasn't pleased all its residents.
Since it is impossible to know what Heaven is like, shouldn't we acknowledge the possibility that existence in Heaven could disappoint?
Can Satan be content *AND* jealous? Can Satan be content *and* want to unseat God? Is jealousy possible if one is 100% content? No; this is impossible if you understand the definitions of both words. If Satan wanted to be God, then he was not in a "a state of satisfaction".
Satan was not content in Heaven; being disappointment in Heaven is possible. Does Satan's discontentment suggest a (minuscule) possibility that one, after existing in Heaven for a while, could be disappointed with Heaven?
What guarantees 100% that Heaven will be perfect if at least one resident was not content?

[Yes, I asked this earlier. Thank you if you responded. But I wanted to clarify the question for those who claim that Satan was content and give new people a chance to answer.]

Country Pride: I never said he left. But he never would have rebelled, thus being cast out, if he was 100% content.

@ yuhateme: re-read my question. I stipulate that Satan wanted to unseat God. If God wanted to unseat God, he is not content.

This is a great question. You are correct Satan was not content in heaven, I never thought about it that way but it makes sense.
Some people wouldn't be content in heaven either because they, like Satan, do not put God first. They put themselves first. That's why some people choose not to accept God's provision to get them into heaven, his son Jesus.
God provides the strength and ability for anyone to go to heaven who wants to go through Jesus. But some people still reject this because to follow Jesus means that God becomes more important to you than yourself, your posessions, your friends, and your culture.
If you put anything before God you will not be content in heaven because in heaven God comes first and his presence is everywhere.
Thanks for making me think today!

According to Vedic scriptures, which are very detailed, Heaven is not the abode of God which is beyond this material universe. God's abode is a place where NO one would EVER want to fall from. It is a very dynamic and engaging place.
But heaven, (though beautiful and full of pleasures) has four faults.
*laziness
*jealousy
*fear
*and it is temperary
The Vedic version of Satan, would be Kali.
Kali first appeared 5,000 years ago, in the form of a dark wretched man dressed in the garb of a king. He was beating the legs of a cow, when emperor Parikshit discovered him.
Kali begged Parikshit Maharaj to spare his life, and for some odd reason, he did.
Under the condition that he only stay in places only where the four evil irreligious practices were going on.
Kali stays in
*a place where meat eating is going on
* a place where illicit sex is going on
*any place where gambling is going on
* and any place where intoxication is taken
a fifth place was also included and that was...
*where money is being hoarded.
So anyway,
our details of Kali, heaven etc...
edit: so yeah you can choose with your free will
heaven
hell
earth
or beyond
my wish is to be free of ignorance or distorted intelligence, so that I can make a good choice. So far, I don't like the five houses of Kali.

Satan and the fallen angels had made no decision such as is required by the children of God.The redeemed of the Lord are bought by the Blood of the Son of God. God will accept them into Heaven after burning up the works of the flesh, which would cover pride, rebellion, ingratitude or any other seed of sin that would be a blight on peace in the Heaven of the bible. If one is not submitted to Him, He will not force them to go through this. Peace will reign because all that will be left is the Word of God, those who have accepted His word, and Love, which endures forever.

O most definitely!! There are many who will and are following him now and want no part of heaven or the Heavenly Father. They are called those with the anti-christ spirit. Those doomed to live eternally in hell with him. You betcha!! "Brute beasts, born to be taken"; as the holy scriptures state it.
You have stated some things from your own mind and fantasy. Scripture says Lucifer was filled with PRIDE. It says nothing about not being "content in heaven". He wanted to be the one in charge of heaven and earth. He stole Adam's dominion and authority and IS in charge of all who do not follow God and IS in charge of the world system who doesn't want God involved..., but you should read Psalm 37 and get the message. Lucifer's name was changed to 'satan', meaning "the dog" and his power and dominion and authority was ripped from him when Jesus died and went into hell and whipped him and took the keys to death, hell and the grave from him and now, ALL who follow Jesus have total dominion, authority and power over him. Some don't know it and he doesn't want them to know it, but it is nevertheless TRUE. He is a defeated foe. He can only work through deceived men and women who think they are giving up something to receive Jesus as LORD. The truth is, Jesus IS Lord and unless you choose Him as your personal one, you get the devil by default. There is no "neutral position".
You asked, "what guarantees"..., God guarantees and sin and satan won't be there! That's the guarantee! God can't lie! The ones there will be there by FREE WILL CHOICE!!

Intriguing question! For heaven to have free, will I will have to say yes. The Bible does tell us why Satan rebelled, it was for pride. One must assume this issue could come up in others.

Great question, obviously Satan wasn't content in Heaven or with the heirachy.
Actually it does more to prove it doesn't exist.

Interesting but you forgot what caused all of his wanting to unthrone God, Pride, pride was deep in him and pride got him into trouble, pride comes before a fall, pride is the sin flowing in him, and God could not be in it, so remember that pride is what drove him. Another area we see that drove him was anger and hatered towards God, this is why he creates lies and deceive people to turn from God, one more of his creation going to hell, hurts him, so we see anger and pride in Satan's situation. In heaven their is no sin, and it is sin which keeps people from going there, and it is giving our hearts to Jesus and accepting him as lord gets us in, that choice to love god continues with us and we are not disappointed to dwell in heaven.

Your statement is not factual.
The facts are, Satan had to be forced out of The Kingdom of Heaven if you ever read your bible.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: she was cast out into the earth, and her angels were cast out with her.
Sounds like she didn't want to leave to me, what do you think? (never mind)
The reason that Satan was PUT out shows that she did not leave willingly.
Satan wanted to rise up above her Head Yahweh, and taught mankind to rebel against Yahweh's authority and his laws and Yahweh simply will not put up with rebellion.
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Yahweh: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity (the breaking of Yahweh's Laws) was found in thee.
Study before you post. That is more dangerous than drinking and driving.

If your will is not aligned with God's will (which is in perfect accordance with all universal laws) then you will never reach that point in your progression, in the first place. There will be no drama in heaven. That's saved for hell.
