What about quantum mechanics or relativity,? I've yet to see a question posted trying to debunk those 'wacky' theories. Is it because the fundies know that their feeble minds could never hope to tackle these complex theories? Seems to me that with the logical capacities that these people are working with, they'd have serious trouble contemplating why their cars get hot in the sun. Honestly, do they watch The Flintsones like it's a documentary? Are they completely incapable of serious rationale discourse? Or are they just offended by the prospect that maybe the entire universe wasn't created for their viewing pleasure? That they weren't made in the image of god? That the bible isn't really infallible? Maybe they lost their ability to reason properly through some sort of natural selection within the church (like killing whoever questioned the bible). Any thoughts?

Think about it, it supposedly rained for forty days and forty nights. The world was underwater for about a year. Even if there was an arc that could hold all of the animals that needed to be held plus a years worth of rations and partitions to keep carnivores from killing other animals. the flood would've killed all non-aquatic plant life. In short there would be nothing for the herbivores to eat. Also as there are some animals that are carnivores (lions, tigers, bears etc) they would need to kill other animals to survive. As there were only two of each animal (14 of each animal used in sacrifice) and as carnivores would need to eat daily they would wipe out many herbivores and eventually each other. How did plant life survive? how did the animals not kill each other in the time immediately after the flood?

Please, no jargon about how I am an evil atheist and no attacks on science or evolution as I didn't mention science or evolution.

Please stay on topic people.

Every time you find a new piece of evidence, you modify your theory to fit the evidence.

If this was how the rest of science worked, we'd have things like cars, planes, computers, vaccines, and Playstation 3 by now. Science would be able to adapt to new pieces of information to form a more complete picture. That's blasphemy.

However, science should not work like this. If science worked the way religion does, it would dogmatically adhere to beliefs regardless of the evidence. That way, we'd never make any progress.

Oooh, you athilutionists make me so mad with your rational thinking and adjusting your beliefs to adapt to new information. Why can't you just be dogmatic and closed-minded like the rest of us?

If Jesus knew he was going to be crucified and it was all part of the plan, surely Judas betraying Jesus was part of the plan too. Judas was one of the good guys. So Judas is in Heaven with his mate Jesus, no?

I was at Olive Garden last Friday. I ordered a to go meal. I specifically stated Maraneira sauce. As I was on my way to a capm ground, as I was going camping, I started eating the food. I saw something fat and around that was brown. Then I realized those fools gave me meat sauce. I was pissed. I'm a vegatarian-I barely ate the food and did manager to separate a lot of the meat. I just ate the cheese raveoli. It is too late to complain on the service?....It'll be a week in 2 days. But I do want some type of compensation done.

is there anything in Jesus' teachings that you think are noteworthy?

Everyone can answer. The reason I am asking atheists is because I know they have read and researched the Bible more than most people and can give an educated answer.

There is a limit to all these beliefs and theories. So, to move on....

There must be something much more profound, that humans could not possibly conceive of, - something that humans could not invent.

Why do you think that the puny human brain can even begin to find the answers?.

According to this article, scientists have finally disproven evolution. They have found indisputable evidence of Creationism. Please do not read the article, as it does not actually say that. In fact, I am simply misinterpreting the article.

Especially, do not read the last paragraph of the article where it directly contradicts me. Merely assume that because I've provided a link I must be telling the truth.

Prior to the 2000 election, George W. Bush stated that he "does not believe that Wicca is a real religion."

He has never recanted that statement and I believe he tried to keep Wiccan soldiers from displaying their pentagram on their tombs. (The adverse reaction was not tolerated under the law and soldiers are now allowed to have any religious symbol thet want put on their graves.)

What else, aside from dying for one's country, can a religious person do to earn respect in the USA?
