I don't necessarily mean this in a "religious" way, though anyone can answer it like that if they want to.

No, I have not, Steve B. He's one of the last people I'd want to talk to.

Anyone who spends their lifetime in a constant state of readiness for the world to end really does need to get some serious therapy.

What a total waste of time - if by some billion-to-one chance the world does end in 5 minutes time at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing I haven't wasted my entire life preparing for the inevitable and instead managed to actually live a little and hopefully help others to do the same.

Sure I would. I feel that I have lived my life in the best way I know how, and that is all I can be responsible for. After all, who can do better than what they know to do?
Also, I feel deeply that the only thing about me that would end is my body. The life force that is the true me would travel on. It might be an exciting journey at that.
So, yes, I would be ready in that sense.

I could go at any time without regrets. I figure I have been living on borrowed time since the Chinese shell missed me by a fraction of an inch in Korea. Ive also had a full life and raised a fine family. Dont get me wrong, im still in no hurry to go.

All "What IF ..." questions are mostly puerile. (Look up that word if you don't know it.)

It is impossible for this world to end because the whole universe now sees our little planet earth as the ONE special sphere where Jesus Christ Incarnated (7BC-AD30) and He Achieved doing God's will perfectly and then receiving the Sovereignty (Rule) of this universe and also now Being the fullness of God to each of us ! Amen !

"This earth is established forever."

Eph 3:21 Glory to God and Jesus, WORLD WITHOUT END.

Those who follow Jesus in Spirit know fully Jesus' loving Commands:

"Fear not !" Be of good cheer" "Rejoice, I AM with you always."

Yes. I imagine that many things we think are important wouldn't matter at all. It would be too late to take care of any unfinished business anyway.

Doubtful - I dont think I could nail both the hot chicks in my office in under five minutes...

And, if I knew the world would end in five minutes, thats exactly what Id be doing...
