Thank you.

For people who know mathematics, you may know that:

e^(i*pi ) + 1 = 0.

This equation proves the existence of God. The five most important quantities in mathematics come together for a single equation in such a surprising and unexpected way. This could only happen if God designed the universe so perfectly that these numbers somehow fit together.

I know that they're not the five most important quantities, and that other numbers like "phi" and "aleph null" are just as important, but I'm ignoring that because it hurts my argument.

When Euler showed this proof to Diderot, Diderot instantly converted. Diderot was better at math than anybody on this site, so if he converted after seeing this equation you all should too. It's only logical.

Now, I know that de Morgan invented this story and that Diderot didn't really convert, but I'm hoping that people stopped reading at the paragraph above and have already converted before they learn the truth.

First I think a Christian is a individual who has accepted Jesus Christ as thier Lord and Saviour and who is the Son of GOD creator of heaven and earth...
Is it fundamentalism to want a society that the Founding Fathers wanted?
A country that valued the family, the morals of decency rasing children to grow up and be productive citizens...

Protecting the institution of marraige, protecting the unborn from mainly young uninformed teens that think abortion is a way of birth control, teaching people to be responsible for thier actions, help people in need but don't enable them..Is this fundamentalism..if it is then I guess I am one...

Fundamentalism does not promote violence..Matin Luther King was a great promoter of this thought as a devoted christian..

BTW: What is hedonistic fundamentalism> Maybe that is what we have going on now...

as a result of the taboo on sex knowledge when he or she was young? These cults teach that curiosity and knowledge are sins. There is no rational ground of any sort or kind in keeping a child ignorant of anything that he may wish to know, whether on sex or on any other matter. And we shall never get a sane population until this fact is recognized in early education, which is impossible so long as the churches are able to control educational politics. Wake up and see what these churches truly are! Mind control cults that are like a disease born of fear and a source of untold misery to the human race!

Like the Chrisians or not...if you are in need a Christian can help...If you are sick and need someone to care for you a Christian can help...If you are depressed and need someone to talk to a Christian can help...Christians help those who are poor, they help the sick, the help those that have been through hardships and tragedies. TRUE Christians help and Love others...That is what Jesus Christ commanded Christians to do...When you make every effort to condemn and put down true Christians you are making yourself look very foolish...Yes I do admit that not everybody that calls themselves a Christian really is one. There are many people that are just in the Christian religion for their own greedy benifit and that is wrong but I am not talking about them...I am talking about true Christians...I know this may not change 1 persons opinion about True Christians but when you meet one you will know now it...you won't have to wonder if they are real...they will show you by their compassion.

I'm upset about the way my boss treats me. He alternates between extremely friendly and extremely rude. Today I had to call and ask to have Friday off because I forgot about some plans I had made a few weeks ago, and then I asked could I have some more hours today and tomorrow and he said "I don't reward people for changing their schedule." Well I'm sorry but I didn't mean to inconvenience him, and maybe I should have made my plans better, but I did what I thought was best in the situation. I need more hours, and why should he refuse to give them to me just because of this? It seems like he knows that it was a honest move on my part. He isn't helping me any by being obstinate. Does anyone else have this problem? Can you help me put it in perspective?

Will those of you who place your god above your family please take a moment to explain why this is?

As an atheist, I have no understanding of how one could not put their family first, especially their children.

I apologize if this is offensive, and please excuse me if it is poorly worded. I'm not sure what to say at the moment.

I've seen a lot of "science" presented here. But is it possible that people can just be too smart for their own good? Here is an example of what I mean:
----
Mensa is an organization whose members have an IQ of 140 or higher. A few years ago at a Mensa Convention, several members lunched at a local cafe.

While dining, they discovered that their saltshaker contained pepper and their pepper shaker was full of salt. How could they swap the contents of the bottles without spilling, and using only the implements at hand? The group debated and presented ideas, and finally came up with a brilliant solution involving a napkin, a straw, and an empty saucer. They called the waitress over to dazzle her with their solution.

"Ma'am," they said, "we couldn't help but notice that the pepper shaker contains salt and the salt shaker..."

"Oh," the waitress interrupted. "Sorry about that." She unscrewed the caps of both bottles and switched them.
