Like the Chrisians or not...if you are in need a Christian can help...If you are sick and need someone to care for you a Christian can help...If you are depressed and need someone to talk to a Christian can help...Christians help those who are poor, they help the sick, the help those that have been through hardships and tragedies. TRUE Christians help and Love others...That is what Jesus Christ commanded Christians to do...When you make every effort to condemn and put down true Christians you are making yourself look very foolish...Yes I do admit that not everybody that calls themselves a Christian really is one. There are many people that are just in the Christian religion for their own greedy benifit and that is wrong but I am not talking about them...I am talking about true Christians...I know this may not change 1 persons opinion about True Christians but when you meet one you will know now it...you won't have to wonder if they are real...they will show you by their compassion.

I agree, but then there are those poor Korean Christians that the Taliban are holding and the two they have already killed. They were only there to help those in dire need.

I don't think I have ever met a true Christian then, and I am not about to wait for one to appear should I require help changing a tire. I would call AAA. However, do you really believe the good things people do can be attributed to their religion? I feel the need to help people, and I am about as much of an atheist as one gets. I don't believe that life has meaning, and I believe all lives, individually and grouped, are inconsequential, unimportant, because there is nothing to lend importance to the continued brain function of organisms.

Religion is not what compels me to donate my time, money, or sympathy. God is not pulling the puppet strings when I do good things, and it is overwhelmingly egotistical to think that Christians have the monopoly on doing good for others.

I understand that there are corrupt Christians and there are true Christians. It is just a personal believe of mine that there is no true God. And i do not hate Christians, i am friends with many devoted to the church. But i just think that people should accept that not everyone follows their personal beliefs and they should have tolerance towards one another. And when i am out and someone gets into a discussion of God, most of my views are not respected, which is amazing considering all the respect i have for everyone elses.

And as far as Christians being the only ones who are gracious, i have plenty of atheist and agnostic friends who help me in a time of need, who take care of me when i am sick or need help, if i get depressed they are always there, or if i simply needed someone to talk to.

Whether you are religious or not, it does not change a person's morals or their ability to help others.

Maybe you are talking about yourself. If you are that good, that's very good.

If you have not been out enough to look at the real world, this Q & A have some questions which are the opposite to what you're saying.
There is a girl who was looked down by sisters/brothers Christians IN CHURCH just because her dress is different .
Lots of Xtians judging other christians, which you are one of them.
Is GWBush a good Christians? Why as a leader he dare to tell lies?

Good people are good people, no matter what religion they belongs to, or even if they are not belong to any.

I think with all the answers here you really have good answers to your q.

What the heck is a true Christian and where are you getting your evidence of this helpfulness from.
From what I have seen all the "True Christians" are busy running around in white bedsheets.

The True Christians in Government are busy trying to destroy education and the environment.

Every time somebody points out how "True Christians" truly behave a whole bunch of you twinkies claim that those are not "True Christians."

You are living in a fantasy with your "True Christians!"
If "True Christian" is what meets your definition then I am sorry but there are not any on the planet.

Like the Atheists or not...if you are in need an Atheist can help...If you are sick and need someone to care for you an Atheist can help...If you are depressed and need someone to talk to an Atheist can help...Atheists help those who are poor, they help the sick, the help those that have been through hardships and tragedies. Atheists help and Love others...Not just Christians. And I hate how Christians think they're the only good people in the world.

The problem is pretty obvious: too many Christians don't live up to this ideal. Many, many, many Christians are too quick to judge and too slow to help. Until all Christians start to live like Christ, people are going to be critical. Trying to claim that other Christians are not really Christians doesn't help. Doing that makes YOU look very foolish... even if you are right!

Thats all great that a "true" christian will help anyone in need. bu tI have known lots of true christions that have helped anyone as long as they though it was benifiting thier road to god or it was getting someone new to join the church. k I understand that these may be the fake christians you talked about. But here is a thought for all of you out thier how about we say a TRUE PERSON will help anyone in need! and start putting more thought into the people who are here now.

so why with all the christians in the world is there still hunger and murder? people are dying in Darfur like crazy. this war in the middle east is all about religion. and then consider the homosexuals! I think most christians are HUGE hypocrites!! your little speech is cute and all, but totally unrealistic. and all of the christians I know would rather spit in my face than help an atheist. I think you should get out more often...

LOL!! so now there are two different types of christians?? the real ones and the fake ones?? okay, would all the fake christians please raise their hands... who are YOU to judge someone's beliefs?? YOUR religion forbids you to JUDGE anyone!! and now you are attacking your own group of people!!! yep! christians are HUGE hypocrites!! You just proved me right, thanks!

that's confusing with over 33,000 denominations. not possibly a "one flock" huh. a lot of people use John 15 or a million Cor 4 to assert that they may be the real church that it is going to likely be hated and attacked, yet nonetheless stay to tell the story. yet verify out background and you will in simple terms see a sort of church homes continuously being around. all of us understand from scripture that the Church of Jesus might continuously be around for education (Matt 18:17-18, a million Timothy 3:15) In Gal a million:8 Paul warns of getting to understand fake gospel from angels, which for my area regulations out Mormons, besides the shortcoming of their historic existence.
