Hi!
My answer will be short because to be honest I don't know much about Scientology. I do know about Kabbalah. So I am probably a little bias to Kabbalah.
I think it's quite funny when celebs join the religious band waggon - but they are only human, and if they have missing gaps in thier lives then , good for them.
Anyway about your question, for me Kabbalah is a far more richer ideology (it is not really a religion in the true sense of the word). Kabbalah has been practised for much longer then the more modern Scientology. I could go on and on, but I am not here to preach the ways of Kabbalah....
Having said all of the above, in short, I actually believe Scientology will win the day, because it is probably far easier to understand and get into for the masses.

I really don't like either of them.
Now, if it were between John Travolta (Scientology) and Demi Moore (Kabbalah) that would be a real battle. By the way, did you know it has been reported that Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are also interested in Kabbalah?

The problem with scientology is that is is nonscense. The problem with Kabbalah being studied by the celebrities is that they have done the work to form the foundation to understand it properly. In Yeshivas (Jewish schools) you do not study Kabbalah. Typically, true Jews (Madonna is not Jewish despite what she says) do not attempt to study Kabbalah until they are 40 and have spent their lives studying Torah, Talmud, Mishna etc.
In answer to your question, in the vein of lighthearted fun, I would say Tom Cruise because he is so "out there".
