Only God can take away our sins.
That is why Jesus, God the Son, bore them on the cross.
By His death and resurrection, He made the payment that was required by God's justice.
One must first admit being a sinner.
Then know that only Jesus' payment is sufficient to cleanse one from sin. Believe in who Jesus is and what He has done and repent---turn from sin. God will give you a heart that can follow Him. There will still be a struggle with sin at times, but God gives the grace and strength to overcome.

Hi, Anil,

First of all, Jesus has already wiped the slate clean for us on Calvary. He fulfilled prophecies such as the one in Isaiah 1:18 where God says that though our sins be as scarlet, He will make them white as snow and the one in Psalm 103:12 that says that our sins would be as far as the east is from the west because He would remove our transgressions from us. Please read the 53rd chapter of Isaiah, which is a prophecy of Christ's suffering and the redemptive value of it, then you will better understand this concept.

It is wonderful to know that even though we were yet in our sins, Christ died for us (Romans 5: 6-12). But what do we do when we find ourselves committing sins after having imputed Christ's righteousness to ourselves when we've accepted his sacrifice on our behalf?

1 John 1: 9 has the answer: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

However, it is evident from many passages of scripture that such confession involves repentance--a turning away from that sin which we confess. We are by no means supposed to continue on a wrong course of action, only to repeatedly confess and think that is fine in God's sight, because it is not. Salvation is evident by a changed life, not by simply talking the talk, but by walking the walk.

Well by human nature we have tendency to sin. you don't have to sin just by sleeping with someone; you can commit sin by lying or thinking bad about other person. I even consider gossiping about someone wrong too.
You can promise your self to lead a good life. Tell yourself ," whatever happened in the past was a mistake and I want to start fresh." It's a difficult path to walk because you would meet many people with negative energy and they will try to distract you. They will make fun of you. It's easy to sin then to repent.

Good luck

Friend,

If one is fortunate he will be able to get a SADGURU to save him.

By devotedly serving him ,manasaa vaachaa and karmanaa and following his directions ,If the Guru is pleased then the sins done in past too are washed away in the stream of mercy of Guru.

This takes a long time and the disciple shall be patient enough to withstand the tests of Sadguru.

Then only gradually the Sadguru starts purification of Disciple.

Repentence. Truly being sorry for what you have done. Confessing your sins to your God and possibly the proper autority on earth. Pay restitution. And forsake the sin and never do it again. But we are all sinners we are human we will all make mistakes. The only perfect person to ever walk the earth was Jesus Christ. That's what I believe. Hope it helps.

First of all try your best to do the right thing in your daily lives...But no human on this planet is perfect or free of sin. So realize that you have made a mistake learn from it and and do not repeat it. Pray and meditate to clear your mind and soul....................

You are already forgiven, it's the acceptance of this that is difficult. But along with the realization that you are forgiven comes the responsibility to change from the "you" that was capable of that behavior to begin with. The difficult part of being forgiven & even saved has been done for us, all we need do is accept it, yet we continue to struggle almost daily with this. For each, this path is a little different, but ultimately, I think it is what we all are hunting for.
